This place is absolutely magic, it was one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had in my life while traveling.
Great place for solo travelers, very romantic and private for couples and perfect families.
I never wrote a hotel review before, but this place deserves. As a solo traveler in Nepal, I was quite tired after the trekking and wanted to spend some time in Chitwan National Park. As i arrived at Jungle Villa Resort I was a little sick (I had a little cold), everyone in the Resort took real good care of me and made sure I was well, I have never seen this before. They truly took care of me as if I were part of their family.
A big thank you for Sadohar Mahato (Resort Manager) he is on board since the beginning, he offered me a tailor made experience, always checked on me and made me feel very free, taken care off and comfortable. I love this place so much that I decided to stay longer, I actually wish to stay there forever.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it is located inside of the National Park, and surrounded by stunning nature! From my room I could see a lot of wildlife and interact with locals in a very authentic way. From the hotel you can see Rhinos, crocodiles, birds, fish and if you are lucky the tiger aswell. The sunset from here is beautiful and also the moon view.
STAFF: A huge thanks to all Staff, they " adopted " me as I was traveling alone. The serving staff, the drivers, the guide (Kamal), the cook, the cleaning staff the receptionist and the hotel owner (Sabin and Kristna). The hotel owners asked all the time If I was feeling well.
FOOD: The hotel has an amazing breakfast, typical cuisine and also international, for lunch and dinner too. they are also flexible to make anything you wish if possible.
ROOMS: The rooms a luxurious and extremely clean, they look beautiful and the bed sheets are soft.
SWIMMING POOL: After the Safari I could enjoy the Swimming pool and was served fresh beverages there.
PROGRAM: The hotel offers Safari and a great cultural program (if you wish they will make it tailor made for you and your family). The guides are very experienced and have a wonderful report with the community. Therefore I was able to see a great deal of wildlife and interact with the local. I felt great to be able to enjoy my trip away from tourist traps and exploitation. They are very respectful with the animals and flora.
I am looking forward to go back to Nepal just to e able to be in Jungle Villa Resort again.
Thank you guys for making my time in Chitwan one of the most beautiful experiences of my...
Read moreWe spent 3 unforgettable days at Jungle Villa Resort. The hotel is located in the midst of Chitwan National Park and offered a beautiful panoramic view to Rapti River from the balcony of our lodge. Our apartments were very clean, beds comfortable and a spacious swimming pool right in front of our door. Since we had booked full-board basis, breakfast, lunch and diner were included. All food was of high quality while we would like to highlight the breaded chicken, stuffed with yak cheese - delicious! After meals and between activities we often enjoyed our time at the bar, offering a great view to the river and a wide range of cocktails and mock-tails as well as soft drinks, tea and coffee. The heart of our journey were the several safari tours we took throughout our stay. During a three-and-a-half-hour jeep safari, joined by 4 other guests, a driver and our guide, we explored 18 rhinos (in and outside water and once at only 2m distance to our car), elephants, numerous types of deer, wisents, crocodiles (among them one approached our jeep with clattering teeth in order to protect her eggs), langur monkeys, peacocks, wild chickens and a large variety of beautiful birds (e.g. Fish Eagle, Greater Adjutant, Great Hornbill, Red-wattled lapwing). All activities, besides jeep safari also including a hiking tour through the jungle, a canoe trip on the river, the visit of aboriginal residents in the Tharu village and their folkloric dance performance, were guided by Kamal who shared his tremendous knowledge about flora and fauna of Chitwan National Park with us and whom we would like to direct special thanks for his passion and kindness. As professional ornithologist, Kamal was capable of recognising dozens of birds that crossed our way and relating them to the designated pages of bird book he had provided us. Furthermore, we would like to thank all staff for their great hospitality and their attentive service. If you decide to visit Chitwan National Park, Jungle Villa Resort definitely is an excellent choice and with a bit of luck you’ll also might catch a glimpse on one of more than 120 Royal Bengal Tigers inhabiting Chitwan National Park as of 2022. We will return with more...
Read moreThis has been an absolute dream in Chitwan! Located 25mins from Bharatpur, where the tourist bus dropped us off. We arrived to a cold towel and welcome drink (as we did after all of our excursions). Babu the manager was wonderful, explained everything to us, organised laundry, taxis and bus tickets. The lodge itself was stunning. Our lodge had a balcony facing into the jungle so we could sit in the chairs and watch birds fly around. The lodge was large, clean, well facilitated with two large bottles of drinking water everyday, a mini fridge, toiletries and air con (necessary!) The lodged are set in a beautiful complex with lots of trees, plants, a stunning pool and most importantly a river viewing deck. We saw crocodiles, gharials and deer every day from our deck. There were lizards, and an array of beautiful birds that we could see from the deck while eating our meals or enjoying a drink, and swimming in the pool with colourful birds flying overhead was fantastic. The food is exceptional, large portions and a reasonable price, a main cost between 500-1000 rupees. Tea and coffee are complimentary and can be ordered anytime. Our breakfast was included and delicious! The service is simply wonderful, all the staff speak amazing English and are so attentive, polite and friendly; they simply can't do enough for you and are happy to help with any problems or answer questions. Babu even spent extra time with us, helping us bird and croc spot from the deck. We went on three excursions, jeep safari, canoe trip and crocodile breeding centre. All were organised by the hotel with no stress. Babu and his team took us out and we saw lots of animals including: rhinos, hog deer, spotted deer, elephants, crocodiles, gharials, wild boar, peacocks, kingfishers, macaques and plenty of other birds that Babu pointed out to us. The hotel really made our holiday and we felt so special...
