Gorakha Hotel Pvt. Ltd — Hotel in Itahari

Very disappointed with the services of Front desk staff named Ms Yashoda. Check in date- 9th January, 2022 Check out date- 10th January, 2022 Pax-3 Invoice no. 7980-6236 Room no. 306

Room was good thats why we choose to stay in gorakha hotel at itahari but kind of service which staff provided was the poorest never ever faced such kind of response from any of the hotel in Nepal/india. Incident When we tried to take bath we observed that hot water was completely missing. State of water which was coming in the room was "less cold" but not hot. When we called front desk staff/Reception the lady handling the call has sent one male staff (Don't know his name) when he checked the water he said "Sir thoda chalakar rakhiye aa jayega" but it doesn't come even after waiting for 15-20 minutes instead of 5 minutes when we called again then she sent the same staff again when same (less cold) water was coming from the tap but now he said "Sir aa to rha h" It was shocking for us like "Are we fool" may be we are not aware of what is hot water or what is less cold water. So we called receptionist again " Now she said "Sir Sirf aapko problem h aur Kisi ko nhi" so i tried communicating with other guest but the fact is "Problem is problem for other guests as well" so other guest told us that "yes it's not hot water but it was coming in the morning may be due to fog the solar heater is not working" so yes I agree that due to fog may be it's not working but why receptionist is so rude or less interested to accept the problem at their end rather saying -Sirf aapko problem h aur Kisi ko nhi -Aap electric kettle me Garam paani karke Naya lijiye Aap Apne entertainment k lye aap problem create kar rhe h When we asked the contact no. Of manager -Ye lijiye Aapko jaha complaint Karni h waha karo Aap se Jo ho sake wo kariye -Never accepted the fault in their service VERY SURPRISED SHE SAID "SABHI INDIANS AISA KARTE H" (RACIST COMMENT) but we know our Indian values since she is lady so thats why have not reacted much rather thinking "She don't know what she is saying' very shameful comment by this staff. REQUEST ALL INDIANS TO AVOID THIS HOTEL.

When we checked out from room I have asked the lady Mam can I have your name please She said "Front Office" then I asked "Your name?" She replied "Receptionist" I again asked "Mam I am asking your name" then she said "Sorry I can't tell you my name" This is what gorakha staff at itahari reacted in response to their poor service at hotel rather acting like "They are perfect and all problem are within the guest and staff are clean" this is what we don't expect this kind of service/response even from a very low grade hotel but this is what happened in gorakha hotel at itahari. But I came to know her name when she has given the copy of invoice to us where name written was "Ms Yashoda" VERY POOR VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH STAFF OF GORAKHA ESPECIALLY MS YASHODA. Due to this even i can't rate this hotel "1 star" I request all indians as well as nepali citizens to "AVOID THIS HOTEL" as this is creating bad image of nepali...

I recently stayed at Gorkha Hotel in Itahari and was thoroughly impressed! The rooms were spotlessly clean and the hospitality was outstanding. I especially want to highlight the exceptional service from Chiran Katuwal at the reception and Pawan Karki. Both were incredibly friendly and professional. Chiran even shared his background of studying in Darjeeling, which was a nice personal touch. The rooftop breakfast area had a lovely view and the overall ambiance of the hotel made my stay very enjoyable. I stay many years in (united States ) living various hotels, i can see how does hotel treat their customers. Highly recommended this place if you're in the area! Thankyou agian Gotkha...

The hotel is located right at Itahari Chowk. I stayed there for one night. The service was excellent, and the food was fresh and delicious. The buffet breakfast had limited options, and there was no machine coffee. The staff was helpful. The room was a bit congested and had a slight odor, possibly due to smoking inside, but it was clean. The hot water in the washroom was great. However, the parking area was limited.
