Hotel Maden Inn — Hotel in Itahari

Our first stay in Itahari and this wasn't even planned. We actually had a day out in Dharan town, but unlike every other time, we decided to stay at Itahari as it would be easier for us to drive through the Indian border and earlier too. We choose the hotel randomly via Google reviews and pictures. Our top priority was gated parking and a comfortable stay. Hotel Maden Inn surpassed our anticipation. The staff were very courteous and attended to all our small requests with a smile on their faces. We just wanted to crash after a long drive so there isn't much to write about the room size. The stay was comfortable and the area is right at the heart of the town. The food was worth the price and the stay was justified. I wish they shared contact details of their representative online so that tourists like us (coming from across borders) could talk and ask on the availability room upgrades. I recently stayed at Madan Inn and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is very new and has comfortable, clean, and well-appointed rooms. The attached bathroom was spotless and had ample hot water for showering, which was perfect after a long day of traveling and site visits. Even with the scorching 40-degree heat outside, the quiet air conditioner and ceiling fan worked wonders in keeping the room cool and comfortable.

The staff at Madan Inn were very friendly and welcoming, even though they were still a bit inexperienced, they showed great potential and eagerness to learn. The breakfast was fresh, tasty, and had good-sized portions which were perfect to kick start my day.

Overall, Madan Inn is an excellent value for money hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Itahari. The combination of comfort, cleanliness, and great hospitality made my stay at Madan Inn a memorable one. I certainly plan to return for my next...

I had a stay during COVID19 pandemic, although traveling was restricted, during this period but, I had to travel for some personal reason with my toddler. I called them before making a reservation and made sure the rooms and hotel premises are sanitised. All the staff were using mask and the property was clean and safe.

Under staff was the major issue during this time, which resulted in waiting for more than one hour to reach the dinner and breakfast on our take after order. Understandable.
