Inner Terai, village, nature, jungle, canoe ride, boat safari, wildlife...what more can you expect for your vacation with family. This place gives you a rustic intuitive feeling that you long for, more so, when you are confined to the ruckus city life. Was there initially for a 2 nights' package but ended up staying a night more. The month of February made our stay idyllic. A special holler to our guide and naturalist Mr. Chhannu Ram Mahato who was the show-stealer of our stay. Thoughtful, empathetic and very well-informed Mr. Mahato even went further in taking care of our needs and he surely knows his onions inside out. All the other staffs and overall hospitality were equally wonderful. The food (local/continental) was delicious and plentiful. We weren't that lucky to sight the Tigers but the other birds, animals, flora and fauna pretty much made up for it. The walk-around the local village to romantic sunset canoe ride were directly from my bucket list. Capping it off with splendid cultural program by the locals whose enthusiasm compels you to join them in their act. The hotel management and the local performers even went out of their way to personally wish me on my birthday, thanks to my wifey for the surprise arrangement. Later on my b'day I was even more swept over to see my bed adorned by flowers with birthday wish (see the photo). Also enjoyed and treasured visiting the Vulture Conservation Area and did a bit of a Cycle Ride around the village on our appended day. Also a special mention about a local Tharu dish "Ghongi" (see the photo) which, upon my special request, Mr. Mahato...
