OYO 343 Pop Life Hotel — Hotel in Kohalpur

We stayed at this hotel for a night while driving from Ghaziabad to Kathmandu. I was travelling with my parents who are above 60 and were tired after driving 500 kms and were looking for a comfortable place to stay. Most of the areas from Banbasa, India till Kohalpur, Nepal seems backward with minimum options to stay. After reaching Kohalpur, we asked people for staying options and most locals recommended Hotel Pop Life. A good hotel with medium sized clean AC rooms with wi-fi, restaurant on first floor and parking facility. Major issue was that there was no lift. Room service was slow and frequent power outages. We had a overnight stay at hotel pop life because of our Kathmandu flight was cancelled from Dhangadi due to bad weather then we decided to fly next morning from Nepaljung and drop about 4 hours found a hotel Pop life near Nepagunj airport. At first we really feel bored for not able to fly but after we checked in to hotel we had forget all our troubles. Hot shower was perfect, food superb, staffs are really great, room was clean all was perfect and had lovely stay we all enjoyed bd highly highly recommended...

As a travel agent this place is probably the worst place I've taken my clients to. Very poor dining experience, they don't properly look after their clients and change their statements quite often. Never been to a hotel with such lack of etiquette. Even after a proper dealing that stated the use of A/C they later demanded extra fee for it. Breakfast was very lacking in portion and unappetising....
