This resort was on my top list to visit during this holiday in Nepal. I called to make an enquiry about the room's availability. However, my experience to the person I spoke in the reception was horrible. I am not sure whether he was an employee or the owner. We have a 1 and half year old baby which means we have to arrange our visits and activities around his schedule. I asked for a Room with a terrace or a veranda so we could enjoy the views staying right outside the room while our baby naps and sleeps safely inside. This way our time during the stay at the resort will not be wasted when our baby sleeps. I explained this to the person on the phone and said that we will arrive in couple of hours if there was availability. I was shocked by his response. He said why would we need a room with a view ' 'when we sleep under the duvet during the night' and then 'sirak ko muni tapaile k dekhne hora' ' you can't see anything under the duvet anyways'. He said that there indeed was a room available but he was very hesitant to make reservation. I asked if we can book in advance and he said yes but he still seemed reluctant to do so saying sometimes people cancel. Money was no issue for us and we would have paid in advance to secure the room. However, the rudeness and unprofessionalism in the manner this person spoke to us made us feel very uneasy and unwelcomed. Surely, there was a better way this person could have communicated with us. We told home we were disappointed by his behaviour and that we will not be coming to this resort ever. I had such high hopes from this place judging by their social media posts. I regret to say my experience with the person in the reception was utter disgust and...

The extra two stars are for the effort the owning brothers/family have put into actually making this an eco lodge for real. Not just using the word to get bookings which is now too common. If you want to see what can be done when a place fully commits to decreasing it environmental footprint than this will be an incredible place. They have also managed to do all of this while not dropping service and quality/comfort of their accommodations. They know what they are doing is important and have not deviated from that path. Thank you for all your effort!!!
We were here for a 3 day yoga retreat and this eco lodge, location, and employees were critical to its success.
The accommodations were extremely comfortable and the food is incredible. It is all grown on the land and in the local village which the owning family still lives in!
The views of the Annapurna Mountains are unbelievable if you wake up early before they form their own clouds for the day. We also had two epic thunderstorms which added to the already spectacular locations. The Village children and people are extremely kind and happy to have you there.
Finally the staff is helpful, friendly, and provides a great experience.
I will be back on my next journey to Pokhara, until next...

I had a very bad experience at this hotel. The management is horrible and treats Nepali guests differently from foreign (white) guests.
What happened to me: In the middle of my sound healing course, I was forced to change my room. They moved me to a random homestay in the village because there where white guest coming and I had to pack my bag at random hours.
What happened to other guests: I saw three girls who had paid 7500 Rs for an eco-resort room. They were also given a random homestay instead. Why? Because their original room was given to a white foreigner guest.
Food they serve in the restaurant is horrible in terms of taste and glasses they serve tea is stinky. Mountain cafe for coffee and cake is too expensive for what the serve and super bad quality and quantity for the price!
This is an insult and unfair discrimination.
My advice:
· Do not stay here if you are a Nepali guest. · The view is lovely, so you can visit during the day, but do not book a room. · For genuine hospitality, book a homestay with good reviews instead. · The sound healing course was also badly organized. The instructors were not sincere. They know the technique but lack the heart for true healing.
I do not recommend this...
