Hananoie-A Permaculture Resort — Hotel in Machhapuchchhre

We stayed for two nights as part of a group. Our rooms were spotless clean. Loved the super hard mattresses. No heating like in many Nepali establishments. View of the Annapurna range from the rooms. Make sure to be awake for sunrise! Plenty of food offered during meals. Staff was helpful and always smiling. From the resort there are many walks which take you through the villages and the gardens and the farms and you can really experience how people live. This hotel is a gem and we loved staying here when we first arrived in Nepal. Very well maintained and the staff was so friendly. Mr. Romis was a great host and ensured everything worked fine from the moment we arrived, thru every meal that was fantastic. The cuisine has no menu and they serve the ingredients which are cultivated on the own garden. Looking forward my next opportunity to go back and stay there...

It's located on a gorgeous spot overlooking the Anapurna range. The rate includes three meals either Japanese or Nepalese. The food is ok..but nothing to shout about. The small Onsen style bathhouse is great. The rooms are very basic, without heating, shampoo or shower gel. It w a s really really cold in the room and the dining room. I think the rate of € 160 per night is highly overpriced considering...
