I had one of the worst nightmare experience in my life in this hotel ,particularly room and bed wise. During my recent trip for EBC trek I had to travel to Ramechhap to fly to Lukla. I stayed at this hotel on advice from our jeep driver. Upon arrival no room was ready even call was made 6 hours prior arrival, I had to wait at least half an hour. Then when finally room was ready and I was guided to room..as soon I entered the room the disgusting smell that hit my nose, no curtain, the smell was from the bed sheers and pillow cover, as it was never washed. I had no choice rather hang on just for that night. I felt like our own Nepalese in our own country don't give a damn about their own brother and sisters, they all care about dollars. The only good thing was they were polite and friendly unfortunately that didn't work for me that night as I had to spent that night in that disgusting, stinking room. My request to the owner don't treat any other our Nepalese at this way, if you are not able to provide room just simply tell them you don't have room. We had been to the Everest base camp and were a stranded soul due to flight cancellation. Finding homely food on an international soil seemed like a drop of water in the desert. That's when we found this hotel and lodge as a Silver Lining. While Nepal is known for its hospitality, Shiva shrestha (owner son) was very generous right in terms of welcoming me. The rooms here are good enough to relax yourself after an exhaustive journey. I must say the food was one of the best we had in my entire stay with Nepal till date. Simple, non spicy, loads of variety. These guys went overboard in terms of preparing food which we were craving for for quite a few days. The prices are economical for the room and food. We a group of 17 had a wonderful experience at this hotel, especially when it came to the food and hospitality. The staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and made sure every need was taken care of with a smile.
