I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Shangri-la Village Resort in Pokhara and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, offering assistance with my luggage and showing me to my room.

The resort itself is beautiful, with well-manicured gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. My room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. The view from my balcony was breathtaking, overlooking the Annapurna mountain range.

This is the hotel bit on the side from the main lake side area. Now it is surrounded by public houses around also. In the beginning it was among the rice fields. And still gives the wide vista of himalayas.

Actually location for the hotel was chosen by well known Geologist and lover of Nepal Toni Hegan from Switzerland.

So far I am informed it is catagorized as 3 star level hotel. As they are a bit on side they have facilities of shuttle service to main lake side area.
