I recently had a disappointing experience at Lotus Club Boutique Hotel. From the outset, the front desk receptionist was exceptionally rude and unhelpful. Her attitude was dismissive, and any inquiries I made were met with curt, unwelcoming responses. This made the check-in process quite unpleasant and set a negative tone for my stay.
I signed up for a 10-day swimming training program, which cost me NPR 7,500. Despite this significant fee, I was surprised to learn that the hotel did not provide juice for training participants. They only offer juice to entry customers, citing this as their rule. This felt unfair and frustrating, especially given the cost of the program.
However, the swimming trainer was excellent. Fully trained and professional, he provided thorough and effective instruction without any issues. His dedication and expertise made the training sessions enjoyable and worthwhile, which was a stark contrast to the subpar service provided by the reception staff.
The rude behavior of the receptionist and the lack of amenities for training participants overshadowed the positive experience with the trainer. Overall, while the training itself was commendable, the poor customer service and unaccommodating policies at Lotus Club Boutique Hotel left much to be desired. I would hesitate to recommend this hotel unless they address these significant...
Read moreThe standard queen room we booked was quite small. Nevertheless, it had the basic amenities of a hotel room. One thing they should definitely improve is the soundproofing of the door; I could hear children running and talking in the hallway.
The room package included either: Sauna, steam, and Jacuzzi service; or Welcome drinks and breakfast.
They offered a chilled beer as a welcome drink. However, they should consider offering a non-alcoholic option, such as a mocktail.
The swimming pool was crowded with children during our visit.
Regarding the included breakfast: The staff were inattentive. They did not ask what kind of omelet we preferred before serving it. The salad was dry, as if it had been pre-cut and refrigerated. We were charged for bottled water, despite breakfast being included in the booking. Why wasn't water included?
The gym is decent for a hotel of this standard. It has...

It was a nice experience to be here. The room and bathroom were in good condition. Everything was working perfectly: AC, TV, Freezer, Hot water, etc. Unexpectedly, food was super delicious. On top of that, they aren't too expensive either. Definitely would visit again.

I went there again and once again, I'm very pleased with Lotus Club. For a reasonable price, you get swimming pool access, a good room with freezer and AC, and even welcome drinks! The staffs are really nice. And, the food is good as ever.
However, outside food is now strictly prohibited. So, better not take outside food, as these gentle people can't go to loss. Also, the food there is not so expensive. So, just order from their restaurant....
