This our first holiday to the Netherlands and it didn't disappoint. The check in staff were friendly and efficient for getting us checked in for a week. We stayed in lodge 242 which was a 4ce, which consists of 2 bedrooms, a open plan lounge/kitchen, a toilet and separate shower room. The lodge was really clean and beds comfortable. Each lodge is detached, seems secluded as has a little lawn area with table and chairs, bushes/trees round so you can't see into your neighbours.||Your key also unlocks pedestrian gates and car barriers.||We did pay for the WiFi package as had taken an Amazon firestick do we could watch English films if we wanted, however the code wouldn't work with it. I called the IT number given and was told the WiFi only was compatable with phones, tablets and laptops. Reception were really accomodating and gave us a full refund. ||The park is perfect for a family. The swimming pool was clean, with a separate area to leave your shoes before entering the pool, free lockers that are pin code activated, a baby pool, toddler pool with 2 slides and main pool. It was nice that the pool was open until 9pm.||There was also a main play area, with good climbing areas and bouncy pillow that my 5 year old loved. There were also another 3 play areas dotted about the park which we didn't get time to use.||There was also a little petting zoo, mini golf, a sports area, bike hire and a kids club. There was a good snack bar (lovely pizza) and a restaurant. The park shop had a good stock for basics. The staff were lovely and very friendly. Although I think we were the only English family there it didn't matter and I would definitely recommend any Landal park to UK families.||We visited the open air museum at Arnhem, Efetling, Kleve in Germany, Amsterdam and the nearby waterfall (which you can get to quicker using the...
Read moreWe visited the park as a last minute thing due to a flight cancellation for our intended holiday. We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife and I were staying with our 16 month old son. We had a lovely little bungalow/cottage which was wonderfully laid out to accommodate children of all ages. 2 of the kids rooms even had a fun small connecting hole between the rooms which my son also found great. The facilities are as we expected and everything worked. The only things was that it said there would be child safe plugs but this was not the case. There was also a very awkward shelving unit above the baby changing mat which was too low and at the perfect height for any child able to sit up to knock their head against (which my son did a couple of times). We also decided to pay to use towels, we received 2 each however they were both tiny and hardly reach around my waist (I have a 32in waist). The facilities on the park were also fantastic! Lots for children to do and get up to. My son unfortunately is a little too young to enjoy them all unfortunately for me... the pool was also great! Temperature was just right although the showers were a little on the hot side especially to wash my son under as even I had to keep switching showerheads to not stop them getting too hot. I also was really impressed with the recycling facilities on site and the noninstrusive yet clear way of getting you to recycle... great work! We will definately be looking to visit again in the future once my son is...
Read moreA, ||We booked (paid) 2 bungalows (for 4 persons and 2 persons). After 16 hours of driving with 3 kids (8,11,13) we shoud had to pay 75 euros for sheets and cleaning ot what?? in advance but they didn't accept our cash. We had only 500 euros from a bank. They (reception) said they don't have enough change because "everybody pay with card". Ridiculous answer from a big summer resort like Landal Green Park.||So it doesn't matter we already paid for the bungalows they didn't accept the money and suggested to us go into the town and change it.||We were in 2 banks and at the police station because it is illegal to not accept the legal currency. We couldn't change our money and we went back to the reception again. Interestingly they offered to send out money to their restaurant and after that to their shop where they changed it and we could pay that 75 euros after 4 hours excruciation. ||They assumed that our money was fake what was a big discrimination (we weren' Dutch, German, etc.)||B, ||3 days later one of us wanted to hire an electric bike but they denied it and we could get only a simple bike. I asked a German couple who ride on a bike and they hired their bikes on the same they when we wanted. ||C, We haven't got any towels in our bungalow||D, Both bungalows had mice in the ceiling what is very annoying during the night...
