I stayed in the apartment loft with my husband and one year old child. We stayed for 10 days. It was very clean and had everything we needed. ||KITCHEN:|The kitchen was fully loaded with cutlery, pots, pans, stove, fridge, dining table, sink and dish washing supplies. |Only thing is that it did not have a microwave. ||VIEWS:|There was a nice view of the courtyard which my son loved watching the chickens in the morning. The front has a view of the street which is perfect when you’re waiting for someone you can see them pull up.||STAIRS:|The stairs were very steep and not ideal to carry a child down but we made it work. We were informed of this before our stay so we knew going into it. There is no door at the top of the stairs but we were able to block it off with a small table which worked perfectly. ||LIVING AREA:|There is a little area to sit and watch television and Netflix is provided. ||BED:|The queen size bed was comfortable and we were also provided with a super cute crib (pack n play with mattress) for our baby to sleep in. ||BATHROOM:|The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink with two drawers for your belongings. A hair dryer is included.||COURTYARD:|Very cute courtyard. Two seating areas - one is like a patio and the other has couches and a table. Chickens are walking around which my son loved. But you gotta watch for the poop so he wasn’t able to crawl in the grass. There is also an in-ground trampoline for small children.||LOCATION:|It is within walking distance (4 mins or so) away from the winkelcentrum (mall) which has everything you would need. The Albert Heijn is also close, which is similar to a small Canadian Superstore. It is also a 10 minute walk to the train station. ||OTHER:|We were also provided a high chair for our baby too. |There is a little cabinet to hang and fold clothes in. |The room has wifi.|The front gate is locked at night.||HOSTS:|The hosts were very sweet and nice. |Our baby was sick during our stay and they were so much help. Travelling with a sick baby is stressful but they were very reassuring. |There is a number provided to text the hosts anytime there is an issue and they would answer right away. They are also very knowledgeable of the area and will help you if you are needing to find...
Read moreWhat an amazing place! Beautifully and lovingly restored with every attention to detail, the house is a real treasure, as are its owners Jeroen and Karin. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was fantastic and there was plenty of it, and our bed must have been about 6 foot wide - it was enormous and incredibly comfortable. I really liked the atmosphere of Etten Leur and it was a great place to have as a base. ||||We went to Beekse Bergen Safari Park from here (about 25 mins drive) and it, too, was fantastic and well worth the money. Eating out, we thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Pannenkoekenhuis het Regiment and at Lo Stivale. We also had an ice cream at the Italian place just opposite Monument 076 , on the advice of Jeroen, and certainly didn't regret it.||||My only regret is that we didn't have longer to stay here! I had read the other reviews before coming here and thought they might be a bit OTT, but having stayed here I can say it was a truly wonderful experience and I hope to be able to go back...
Read moreWith friends we planned to have dinner at 'De Zwaan', the michelin restaurant within walking distance from this b & b. We had already pinned a date but unfortunately this did not work out for the restaurant. How lucky we were! Because on that first date Bed & Breakfast Monument076 did not have rooms for us. I was intrigued by the round window and there my husband and I stayed. We were over the moon. Everything was right, the decoration, the bed, the bathroom, the little sitting area, tv. Nothing was too much trouble for our host Jeroen. Upon arriving there was a bottle of wine to share waiting for us, so attentive! The breakfast was fresh and crispy and tasty and we were asked again and again what we could need more. Such hospitality is so heart-warming. Of course if you have a passion for what you are doing, this can be the wonderful result. We would definitely visit this...
