Herberg de Zwaan Elspeet — Hotel in Nunspeet

Nice small hotel with restaurant in a quiet town. Really have the feeling of "family inn". We stayed in a room with mezzanine which was great. The staff was very attentive and nice. Breakfast served for each table very fresh and tasty, though on the light side. Great Location for travelling around and free parking near the hotel .The restaurant is very good as well.

Disliked · The air conditioning wasn't very helpful - it didn't really make a difference so we had to open the windows .The room missing some closet space to put clothes etc., - not really comfortable having to improvise and the shower though big and nice could have some shelf to put...

I absolutely loved this place. We had a family room which was beautiful and was well equipped. The temperature was perfect and we all slept so well. The host was lovely and very welcoming. When you arrive you can unload in front of the hotel but will need to park in the museum carpark (which is really close by). They have a small fridge downstairs that is stocked with beer and wine, you can help yourself and pop on the sheet what you have had so it can be charged. We were very disappointed with our stay. We had booked a suite for 4 people, but only the double bed was made – the single beds were left undone. There was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, only a small soap at the sink. The soundproofing was terrible, and there was no proper air conditioning or heating, despite being listed in the facilities. On top of that, the beds were far too soft and uncomfortable.

For the price we paid, the quality and services were far below expectations. Unfortunately, the hotel did not live up to what...
