My worst stay ever.||We paid more than 400 euros for a weekend in a luxury Holiday Home, and what we’ve got, is the worst holiday home ever.|They advertised with a bosrand home, 2 stories high, with bath, but what we’ve got was a old tiny dirty stable , with the worst freezing bedrooms ever. |The bathroom was so small, and old, smells like hell and was dirty.|The kitchen is older than my grand parents, and the equipment was only a ancient gas cooking plate. ||We’ve got a holiday home totally different as advertised, and the receptionist said, that’s normal, because you’ve booked via a booking site.|The receptionist wasn’t willing to help, but i had to make another down payment of 65 euros, also not advertised or mentioned anywhere before.|You must pay hundreds of euros hidden costs for the sheets, cleaning and tourist taxes pro day. ||Sleeping in a luxury hotel is cheaper! ||The furniture is dirty, and very old, and the beds are short with dirty mattresses, full with bed mites! ||There is no oven, even not a microwave.|Coffee must be made by an antique coffee machine. |The cuttery and table ware is old and is dirty |The refrigerator is not working.|The windows are single glass and the holiday home is always cold and the wind blows through the house.|The house itself looks like a stable. Read moreWe stayed here with family in March/April 2013 and had a very good time despite extremely cold weather. The house was comfortably warm. The beds were average, but slept well. The house was very clean upon arrival. They are nicely situated in the forrest and we saw buzzards, rabbits and woodpeckers on several occasions. Only negative point was the humming of an aircirculation system. You could not turn this of and we had to get used to this the first nights. For us it was a very...
Read moreWe have stayed at Herperduin vacation park 2 times. Both times were positive and we will be back. We booked the Bosvila 6 model and it had all we needed for an extended stay. One stay was with our daughter in July 2013 and the park and pool offered a lot of outdoor and active options. The second stay was just my husband and I over Christmas and New Year holidays in winter 2014. The restaurants are fantastic and the little shop with fresh bread each morning is a must! You'll likely need bikes or a car if you plan to go anywhere outside of the park as it's too far to walk to town or other attractions. We plan to go back as soon as we can. It's a quiet, peaceful and beautiful retreat in...
