Marina Cove Bay of Islands — Hotel in Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Community

Couldnt recomend Marina Cove more highly - we stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which had an amazing deck with stunning views. Apartment was well equpped and whilst no oven or hotplates the BBQ was great for things we did want to cook.|We'd had a few false starts on this holiday and Wendy couldnt have been more helpful and considerate in accommodating our changes - and that was greatly appreciated.|It was fun and easy to pop onto the car ferry at Opua (lunch at Omata Estate with visit to Russell after) and the coastal walk (1 to 1 /2 hour) between Marina Cove and Piahia was well worth doing.| Overall loved our stay and actually whilst we enjoyed exploring the area we often just wanted to sit on the deck and enjoy the...

We spent five exciting and eventful days in the Opus Apartment in March 2024. |The spacious flat with the well-equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and the beautiful view of the bay invites you to relax on the terrace. Mike and Wendy not only provided us a good bottle of wine and a Nespresso machine with capsules, but each morning fresh bread and delicious breakfast with fruits. David also organized an excursion to explore the beauty of the Bay of Islands and gave us lots of recommendations for excursions in the area. Awesome spot, lovely and tranquil with stunning views. Apartment was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and every little detail thought of. The breakfasts each morning were left in the most delightfully unobtrusive manner and were just lovely. Great attention to detail, we loved everything about it. However, air conditioning was the only missing factor as it was hot at night which made it hard to sleep.
