Paroa Bay Chalets — Hotel in Bay of Islands-Whangaroa Community

We stayed at Paroa Bay chalets just after lockdown for my 40th birthday. It was my husband and I, with our 5 & 7 year old. We loved it. It's a beautiful location, next to the winery and with views out over the countryside to the sea. Russell is not too far away, and there are heaps of walks or beaches nearby.

The chalets are very comfortable with everything that you might need, and very spacious. The outdoor spa was a great touch.

The owners are very attentive and helpful. I couldn't have asked...

We stayed at Paroa Bay for 3 nights. It was great, quiet, clean and the perfect place to relax. It was our first time in the Bay of Islands and we will definitely be back! Spent two nights here with another couple. The chalet itself is very nicely decorated and fully equipped. Wifi, TV, kitchen and laundry. Not far from Russell but you could be hundreds of miles away it's so quiet...
