Pukekohe Motel — Hotel in Franklin

The women of this hotel were friendly and calm and helpful answered all my needs with smiles and were interactive,

I would recommend in a heart beat, With local Pokekohe shopping 15minutes brisk walk or bus shop right out side but need to purchase a Hops Card.

Center, quite big for such a small area. Great little shops and cafes, Train station to ride in to central Auckland and back to the country again.

Says three stars should be five Small self contained rooms that are spot less and cooking filcilities with Bottle o across road and and huge shopping center across road where they bake all the sweets and make all their deli products,

A place where you want to be left alone to find your head in peace and quiet.

Not a very good experience for myself and three kids as we were here for one week. Most of our stay here we did our own service. The blankets were stained which looked like coffee and old blood stains. My kids got sick and had bad upset stomachs so I had to take them doctors. After getting back from the doctors to go too the motel I put the kettle on to make my baby a bottle to find that their is mould at the bottom of the kettle which that being the cause of why we were getting sick. I had explained this to the manager and all she had to say was sorry and replaced her kettle with a new one. That's not all, the stove did not work and when trying to use it, it reeked of gas. Couldn't turn the stove off so the manager had sent a maintenance worker over to say the whole thing needed to be replaced as it's old and rusted. Paid a ridiculous amount of money here which wasn't even worth it. I would not recommend this motel to any family with young children. I expected this motel to be clean and have utilities all in working order. Would definitely not...

We stayed on two separate occasions, one for 4 nights for the 2019 ITM Supercars Supersprint in a fully self-contained unit and the other for 1 night in a studio unit a few weeks later. On both occasions we found the lady at reception to be very friendly and the rooms were both very clean, good beds, well appointed and good value for money. Location is pretty good and there is a shop on site that sells your basic food and kitchen/bathroom staples.||||The fully self-contained unit was excellent and recently renovated. It had a separate bedroom which had no traffic noise at all as these rooms are at the back of the complex away from the road. Very comfortable with lounge and dining table. ||||The other night was in a 2nd storey studio unit at the front of the complex. it was not as new or as big, but still very comfortable.
