Having lived in some of the world's food meccas and experiencing food in fine dining establishments ,our experience at Seddon left us wondering and underwhelmed. While the service and ambiance were great, the prices and quantities were the opposite. I ordered chicken liver as entree and kumra fries, my partner ordered the crispy duck breast . we both agreed that the flavors were good but the quantity was on the very stingy side. 23 dollars for two small pieces of chicken liver with a thin 4 cm piece of puff pastry is by all means very expensive . With all due respect, Seddon is NOT a fine dining restaurant in Paris or New York. . the duck breast was done beautifully but was more like a duckling , pretty small for the hefty price of 42 dollars. The breast was accompanied by a lone baby carrot and a sliver of leek. We also ordered a side of seasonal greens that was nicely roasted and had great falvors. All and all the impression was that in the kitchen someone is doing a great job with flavors and presentation but the prices are very steep for the amount of food served. It is a shame ,because everyone in our table declared that they will...

Went for dinner with my wife, her daughter and my mother-in-law. It was my wife's daughters last night before flying back to Aus the next day so we wanted something special. We were not disappointed. A fairly low key entrance led into a surprising chique, bijoux interior with many refined touches. We were greeted by a warm and friendly maitre d' and led to our table, past a lively and bubbling open kitchen, by a very pleasant server. The evening had started well. The meal could not have been better. Starting with focaccia bread and farinata from the pizza oven with house smoked olives on the side. For the mains we as a group were admittedly very boring, all opting for the duck. That was until my wife decided not to be boring and had two entrees, octopus and the Clevedon mozzarella. None of us were disappointed. The meal was excellent, without fault. This was not a cheap meal but it was excellent value for money. Go, eat, you...

Seddon 64 is located a stone's throw from the main st of Pukekohe. Serving modern kiwi cuisine, it's a must-visit restaurant if you enjoy good food.

While locals are spoilt for culinary options in Franklin, there are few that match the sumptuous menu offered by Seddon 64. It serves dishes using fresh local ingredients, adding a unique touch to the menu.

The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. No pretentious nonsense. It's the perfect spot for a casual dinner or a special occasion.

Our waitress, Morgan, was exceptional. She was attentive, friendly, and had an excellent knowledge of the menu. Morgan understood the wine list and what foods each bottle paired best with. This service made for a pleasant dining experience.

The menu is diverse and offers something for everyone, from Italian classics to deliciuosly plated contemporary fish or beef dishes. The flavors are bold and...

Got the takeaway pizza tonight -patata! It had such potential to be amazing!! But it was a bit underwhelming. Potato’s we’re too thick so not actually cooked properly and base could’ve been worked a bit more and more ‘wood fired’ as it didn’t actually taste it. But cheese ratios were perfect! The caramelised shallots good too added a pop of sweetness. Loved how saucy the base was but think a white base could make it even better! I’d def try another flavour or two and look forward to dining in soon as the menu sounds great! I have been once before but it was a while ago.
