This was my 1st time here. The woman that greeted me on my arrival was bubbly and welcoming. Excellent and happy service. I had pre booked via booking.com Check in was about the quickest I’ve had, hassle free and with ease. Now this family studio doesn’t look like much from the outside with its basic design though as soon as you step in side l was extremely surprised. Very tasteful design on the inside with everything you need. Parking was directly outside which was very convenient. Very cosy, great TV reception and heating as it was a cold couple of days. I had only booked for 2nights though l was enjoying the studio and surrounds so much that l thought l would book another night directly through the holiday park itself though this was the only letdown. There is no incentive to book directly through the park itself and l explained this to the staff which gave me a $5 discount over the counter though l could have got it for $20 cheaper at the time on booking.com. This makes no sense and the park wasn’t busy at the time. Anyway l had a great stay and would return with pre bookings in place.

Place is beautiful and clean. Big area for camping, rooms to stay and for children to play and explore. our room was comfortable, warm and spotless. They have everything you need for cooking in their shared kitchen. Laundry machines and dryer as well. Close to town, Bluff and especially to beautiful Ōreti beach. My family and I stayed here for 4 days during xmas. No complaints at all but appreciate everything around and the roof over our heads. Met great people. Ended up giving away foods and things we dont need before starting our road trip back to the north island. Thanks to Amy and her brother for the 100% great service. Lovely people. We will definitely visit again and highly recommend your place to anyone. Thanks again. Happy new years 😊

The camp kitchen is very dated ,we found our table pivoted from side to side. At the time of our visit the kitchen had an unpleasant musty like odor,so we left the kitchen to enjoy our meal in our camper instead. I also had a shower in the dark as the bathroom lighting works on a timer, there is inadequate signage here and this should be properly communicated at the time of booking into the camp. The camp has a lot of long term residence, further adding to the overall dated appeal.

It's a beautiful place for camping. I lived here 2 days and enjoyed. The facilities are good to use. The only thing made me unhappy was I met a lady who argued with me. She said I used the water she heated. Actually, all of things in kitchen is for public and I heated the water after lunch time for my tea and sit another room. Then I came back for my second tea. I thought she reheated after me. Listen, how I can know the position and take water directly without any hesitation if the water was not heated by me. Because there are 4 kettles at the different 4 corners in the kitchen. And she didn't prevent me at that moment if she really cared it. All of things above didn't make me unhappy because it might be a misunderstanding. The only thing made me unhappy was she mentioned because I AM A ASIAN and she didn't want to hear my expectation finally. I know my English speaking and listening is not really good and I trust it is not her Original intention. However, It's definitely discrimination and insult. I don't think it's a kind way for the people who have a high quality. People always have arguments because they stay different positions or views, so maybe they can not view the whole scenes. And we always look for excuse s like no time or money. However, we should not have make others agree with us all the time. We have the rights to speak free and please, be more patient to others and stop thinking just using...

Really not a great experience. The room wasn't very clean when I checked in (kitchen area particularly), loads of cobwebs, very dated. Bagpipe marching band staying on site, apparently some national competition, so lots of practice going on! Give them their due, quiet by shortly after 9pm, as was most of the site. Just as well, walls of the cabins are paper thin. Bed mattress very old and soft. Morning shower was a fiasco - I couldn't get our ensuite shower to give me anything but scorchingly hot water, so went to communal showers instead. Ancient showers gave a trickle of warm water, just about enough to get me clean and no fear of taking my crocs off (if you are a camper, you'll know what I mean!). Also went pitch black when lights went off, apparently on a timer at the door. Didn't bother complaining, too early in the morning and just wanted to get going. Staff were helpful when I checked in. Whole place feels very run down and I wouldn't stay there again. Mind you, absolutely no reason to visit Invercargill again now the husband has seen...
