Blue Bell Motel — Hotel in North Island

Stayed over the Christmas period on our way to catch the ferry the following day. Room and the location were all great. The quality of the facilities - room decor, towels, cleanliness were all of a very high standard, even better than any 5 star hotel we have stayed in.||||But what made our stay memorable was the host who went out of his way to make sure all our needs were met. The attention to detail was incredible whether it was informing us of meal facilities in Foxton, or just going out of his way to make sure we had the best information to make the most of our trip. We spent one night here.||||Room was very clean and although it's on a main road we didn't notice traffic noise but we did have windows closed. ||||Rohan seemed very good although we only met him briefly as he had a bowling tournament on. ||||Perfect location for Foxton Town. Would go back again. ||||Just a small note which certainly wasn't the Motels fault but in case other travellers have had the same issue. The unit was very clean and tidy. However we were abused and sworn at by the manager on the afternoon of our departure, when we returned from a family function to collect our belongings and vacate the unit. He accused us of things which we absolutely had not done. He had bailed up the wrong person, as we did not even stay in the particular unit he was talking about. We were in a different one.||Based on his attitude and the foul language and profanities he used, I could not recommend this motel.||He needs to take a Kiwi Host course, and learn to...
