Manawatu Cafe — Restaurant in North Island

Went here 6 years ago from Melbourne and on our trip last week had to repeat the experience. It's just. That. Good. If you're within 1,000km of this place, you owe it to yourselves to grab some of the best fish & chips in NZ, probably the world. No frills. no tartare or lemon wedges - just beautiful tender fish and perfect chips at a ridiculously low cost. 5 well...

Spent over $40 on Chinese food from here. Fried noodle dish, sweet and sour pork and chicken fried rice. I’m not a fussy eater. I usually eat what is given to me but what was given to me was really bad. Super disappointed with all the dishes. Most of it was thrown in the bin. I was super upset and felt like I wasted my money...

So disappointed. Got Chinese Friday night. Fried rice ok but the rest awful. Sweet and sour watery lack of flavor pale and soggy. Chicken vege and noodles dishes. Over cooked veges and again lack of flavor and soggy. These were cooked while I waited. Sorry but spend $70 and was a terrible....
