One Tree Point Motel — Hotel in North Island

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at One Tree Point Motel in Ruakaka, New Zealand! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the level of service and attention to detail. We stayed here for one night, with our toddler and preschooler, arrived at 9am and was given a room although check in is at 2pm. Janet the Duty Manager was very helpful and thoughtful. She checked us in, bought over a jug of milk to our room and a map of the area with all the info for visitor things to do. We booked a one bedroom unit, there's two single beds in the bedroom and a queen in the living area. The bedroom is connected to a little outdoor area with a wooden table and seats. There's a spa in the bathroom, which I used after a long day doing visitor stuff with the kids. The kitchen area is small but has an electric cook top with all cooking facilities, pots, pans, utensils everything you need to cook and serve a meal. The was impressed with how clean the unit is. We paid $220 a night, was worth for an early check in and lovely service. Marsden is a small town so we were happy things to do were close by. New Zealand's oil refinery is a must do if you...

Wow beautiful rooms! We came and booked 2 rooms both of which were comfortable and inviting. As a family who loves to holiday around Northland, we have stayed in a wide range of places and I have to say this place wins the "Comfortable Bed' and 'Service ' categories hands down.
