Harbour Keys Cafe & Bar — Restaurant in North Island

Amazing food was so pleased. Service was ok. She placed our coffee and drinks down without saying a word which was odd. I asked to get a coffee for takeaway after paying and had to wait about 15 minutes for the coffee despite no one else being there. The workers were talking to each other for 10 minutes before they remembered to make the coffee. Made me want to go behind the machine and make it myself. Despite that, the food made up for it immensely. Would’ve loved a drinks list as well, all that was shown were wines...

I drive past this place virtually every day and it always seems busy and popular so finally found a day and time to visit. Modern building and well presented, but from there it went down hill. Ordered my usual Americano Coffee with cream and hot water on the side, coffee arrived but nothing else, had to go back and line up again. First impressions count and as I live a KLM down the road, I'll just continue to drive past. It's summer now and people are out and about and you want to attract your locals...

So disappointed with our dinner experience. I've enjoyed food and service here a few months ago but slow service tonight and then sub-standard food... there's no excuse for not having fresh salad at this time of year... never OK to have yellowed rocket with dodgy edges. My sister's lamb was tough and full of gristle... neither of us enjoyed our meal and when we politely pointed out our disappointment there was no acknowledgement or apology, just excuses, which made it even worse....
