Location was close to the beach walking distance. The space of your campsite was the best I’ve had.

We arrived on a Friday and ended up staying there 3 additional days until Monday. During that time the soap dispensers were empty when I arrived and empty when I left. The cleanliness could be done a bit better of the facilities.

The check in system was great and happy that I was also able to extend my stay so very much appreciated.

Not too much shady spaces unless you had your own pop up tent but we stayed in one of the shady areas until about 11am and it was perfect for our morning breakfast without the sun touching us!

Showers needed to pay $1 for a hot shower but that was okay and the water pressure was great.

Garbage facility was cleaned for as. I h garbage as there was. And water was readily accessible to fill up our water bottles.

Price was also great and would still definitely come back here...

Great value for money, only $10 per adult per night. Pay by cash. The office shed to the left of the camping field gate is only manned at certain hours so park up and read the instructions to get a site. There is a number to text too written on the fence. It's a first in first served system so dont arrive too late in peak season. Facilities are good for the price, bathrooms were clean when I visited. Staff were friendly. Campsite is just a section of grass in a field, try and get by the treeline if possible because it can be a bit exposed on a windy day if tenting. Diverse campers, Heaps of backpackers/travelers, some families. Lots of self contained vans/ busses. 25 min walk to town, 20 minute walk to ngarunui beach. As it's a basic campground, remember to bring your own cooker, but water and coin activated hot showers are available. Not bad for $10. Check out...

Yes, it’s a little bit basic, but for this price - great!! Make sure u arrive early to get a spot - you can do the self check in, just read the instructions- it’s everything written down what to do and text the number by arrival before 6pm so you get the code for the gate. Otherwise the office is open from 09-10:30 am and 06:00-07:30 pm - it’s get very busy in the evening so i would come in the afternoon. Only thing is there are just 2 hot showers with 1$ coins for 3min. Next to the male bathroom is a sink to wash ur dishes with hot water. Toilets were clean.. Of course it also depends on the...

Excellent place to stay tidy camp site and the operators are very friendly Very affordable @$10 per adult and $5 for children 7 and older Had no problems with the showers unlike some of the other reviews 2 minutes walk to the beach and the only 10 minutes drive from the surf beach and about 10 minutes to raglan town too. There is also a walking or bike track that takes you all the way into town from the camp Me and my family will definitely be back very soon! Wish we had longer than just the weekend there! Cheers team Caleb Edhouse

This campground is 100% worth the price ($10/person). It's basically just a large grassy field with numbered camp spaces throughout that is a 3 minute walk from the beach, the facilities were clean and well kept with flush toilets and paid hot showers. There is drinkable water and trash/recycling on the premises. The people who run the area very friendly and getting a space was totally painless. I would love to come back and stay for longer!

I just spent a weekend at Te Kopua Whanau Camp, and it was fantastic! The views are gorgeous, and the atmosphere is super peaceful. The campsites are spacious, Unfortunately no sitting around the camp fire as fires are prohibited. Plus, the staff were friendly and helpful. I had an amazing time and can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway!
