What can I say… I will start by putting my review in perspective… we just came from 2 weeks in an old motorhome and last night stayed in a luxurious hotel. We got our rental car yesterday and booked this accommodation for tonight. The most descriptive way is that it’s the minimal you need: bunk beds in a dry place. No comfort, but it will get you through the night…
In a campervan I would not mind any of this and it would be a 3-4 star review: not great, but neat and just fine. To me this is a one star in terms of comfort, but given to have low expectations… it IS neat enough…
Some disliked observations: • pool only had 4 beds, 1 chair and 1 shade-cover. No umbrellas and it feels like to pool should have at least 10 beds for a holiday park of this size… • first toilet was covered in pee (seat included) and torn toiletpaper on the floor • another car was parked at our spot and double parked, yet WE were urged to move ours instead of fixing that we could use the car park that was for us. • no screens to keep bugs out when wanting to open the windows
Some things we liked: • closely to the caves • besides the toilets, everything was neat • there is a pool • nice playground
I think the price was too high for what we got.. the above reflections and the price combined: we would not...

Read moreThis is a beautifully kept site, the grounds were immaculate and the facilities were very clean. Ye staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in providing advice and guidance. The kitchen and bbq area was spotless but also a very nice communal space. Whilst we've done lots of camping being brits we hadn't come across campsites with kitchen faciltiies before and this was very welcome in a cramped motorhome and the facilities here were top rate. The laundry facilities were reasonably priced and the addition of card paying machines to operate the equipment was welcome. Most of the motorhome sites were quite small and close together with not really enough room to put out your awning or sit out but i suppose most people like stay here a couple of nights to see the caves so it was perfectly fine. They have chalets/cabins to rent and these looked very nice. If you do visit make the effort to go a little further than the caves as Marokopa falls and Mangapohue natural bridge are worth visiting both free. Also the restaurant Tomo across the road sells reasonably priced food and has a...
