Everything about our stay here was excellent. We don't usually choose B&B accommodation as we have had some uncomfortable experiences in the past, but this place was lovely and the hosts were welcoming, pleasant and relaxed. There are three rooms on site, each one is spacious, clean,very nicely presented and comfortable. Our room had a huge and well-appointed bathroom, as i am sure the others did too. There is good separation from the hosts house and the b&b so it is very private, and there is a small communal kitchenette area where you can make a cuppa without going into the main house, which adjoins the accommodation. Breakfast was served in their kitchen around a large table, and it was great - cereals, juices, toast and fruit, as well s the option for bacon and eggs if you wanted. When we were unable to proceed to the West Coast due to the massive flood, Ron and Jan helped us work out alternative routes to take so that we could enjoy the rest of our stay at the South Island.||The whole place was clean and extremely well-maintained.||Jan's quilt pieces and other forms of handiwork resulted in a cozy and comfortable stay for guests.||Breakfast was marvellous.
