Hokitika Sunset Lodge — Hotel in South Island

It was an unexpectedly huge B&B, I wasn't aware other guests would be there and concerned due to us having children but it was totally fine with a large house, all communal spaces were very spacious, immaculately clean and we did not hear any noises from our part of the house. ||||Our 2 bedroom unit was nicely decorated, clean, and had more than enough spaces for a family. Each room had a heat pump.||View and sunset were beautiful from the deck. Spa pool was located in a lovely garden. The owners of this B and B have only been taking guests for 3 weeks although the accomodation was available before this. The renovations made have lead to excellent and very comfortable accomodation. Location is very interesting as it is on main highway 14 km from Hokitika. It is near the beach and the sound of the waves at night were very pleasant. Our room---we were upgraded---was large and very comfortable. Bathroom was excellent and met all our needs. Breakfast was again very good as was the drink and canapes at 6pm.
