Owaka Lodge Motel — Hotel in South Island

After a unfortunate event where me and my friends car went kaput, we stayed the night here. The host not only was professinal, helpful and an absolute delight. The service was impeccable, the complimentary muffin delicious and the bed were among the best i've slept on. Even 2 weeks later i keep thinking about that bed and had to email and ask where they got it from. My only regret is that I am not often in Owaka to be able to stay...

Owaka lodge has 4 wonderful, cosy and well equppied rooms and a top level host. It's a very friendly motel and community which makes you feel welcome and at home instantly. A note for anyone worried about the cold, there's no need! The rooms are warm and there are plenty of heaters if you need them.
