Celebrating my husband's 40th birthday was no small feat, especially considering his two decades of dedication to the travel industry. However, our experience at Omana exceeded all expectations, leaving us utterly enchanted and eager to share our tale.

From the moment we arrived, Omana enveloped us in a world of luxury and tranquility. The anticipation in my husband's eyes as I unveiled the surprise was priceless, and from that moment on, we were swept away on a journey of pure delight.

The team at Omana spared no detail in ensuring our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Every touchpoint, from the impeccable service to the exquisite cuisine, was executed with precision and care. We were truly made to feel like royalty, with our every need anticipated and met with grace and warmth.

And then there were the views—oh, the views! Nature's masterpiece unfolded before us in all its splendor, painting the horizon with hues of serenity and awe. It was as if time stood still, allowing us to savor every precious moment together.

We just completed a Pre Xmas weekend at Omana Lux Villa. ||||We travel all over the world, year round, every year, so imagine our delight in coming home to NZ, Waiheke and this piece of paradise that is Omana. ||||As you walk in, the first thing that hits you are the views over the tree canopy and down towards the beach/bay and beyond. Just stunning. The views are mesmerisinly beautiful. Floor to ceiling glass, wide, expansive views, high ceilings and beautiful spaces. ||||The quality of construction and attention to detail is second to none. My partner loved the scultured bath and stunning views (I couldn't get out her out......ha) Totally private yet easily accessible. We stayed 2 nights and the high quality details made themselves known bit by bit.... From the bed, bedding (and especially the pillows) everything in this villa was spot on/perfect. ||||Breakfast was fresh, delivered and perfectly arranged. Many other details you will have to find yourself, but it lacks for nothing. This part of waiheke is stunning, the villa sits adjacent a perfectly manicured vineyard and from the parking area you have views to the water each side of the ridge. NZ at its best. Just up the road is Batch winery which is a great place for lunch and they often have events during the summer not to be missed (we were lucky to be there for the most recent one). ||||We had a perfect weekend, many thanks to Cobus and Silmara and what they have created. The WOW starts the minute you drive up to your villa - so private and spectacularly perched cliffside with expansive bay and sea views. The villas are the most incredible architectural design - with a commitment to sustainability and are totally in keeping with the surrounding environment. Inside oozes luxury - from the outrageously stunning marble bathroom with a bathtub big enough for three people. A clever kitchenette is brilliantly stocked with a real McCoy coffee machine, microwave and loads of gorgeous glasses and platters to be able to invite some friends over into the gorgeous living room. Which is exactly what we did. Eight of us sat around the table enjoying the view and the rugby on a big screen, with incredible gourmet platters thoughtfully provided by Omana. The most divine spread of cheeses, dips, breads, fruits and nuts. |The bed was divine and I wanted to take the pillows home! Everything is so thoughtfully provided. Power points in the right place & lots of those important toiletries that you sometimes forget. The breakfast delivered to the door in the morning was the icing on the cake, the flakiest croissants, and best granola and coconut yoghurt I've tasted with delicious fresh fruit. |So great to have somewhere finally on Waiheke that offers this level of luxury that you can escape to with a loved one or get a few friends together (like we did) for an outrageously fun...
