De Meros Hotel & Suites LTD — Hotel in Ikeja

Lodged here for about 5/6 nights for my trip to Lagos in late January 2024. For the price point, it was certainly a decent place. Most things works. Rooms were clean, I felt safe and the staff were pleasant.

I accidentally overpaid (my fault) and within minutes of bringing it to their attention, I was told I couldn’t get a refund unless “management” approved and this could take weeks or months. Although there’s a “No Refund Policy” sign displayed at Reception, I didn’t expect this would apply in is kind of situation where it was a mistake realized within minutes. Anyways, I ended using it as a credit to extend my stay, so no real inconvenience.

Small changes in the bathrooms including changing the aging mops and anti-slip foot-mats in the shower to reduce the risk of slipping in the bathrooms, would be welcome changes

We have been a very good client to this property which is well situated in a strategic location on the mainland. The hotel gives you easy access for those going outside Lagos state because of its closeness to a major highway leading to several other states in Nigeria. It also give easy access from mainland to the Island. Nice hotel with good services, but can really do better. Rooms need to be improved upon to maintain his standard. The VIP Lounge at the basement of the hotel need to be upgraded for customers to enjoy more. The pool is nice, food is okay, in. All I score the property 7/10, but I believe she can do better than that if given much...

I stayed at the hotel for some 5 - 8 nights and found it quite an unpleasant experience. This was at the Agidingbi branch or area (Celestial Church Street). The water in the shower ran out on 2 occasions. The phone call to the reception to complain was utterly useless! The reception took a long time in dealing with my problem until I had to come down to the reception with soap all over me! The food from the restaurant is over priced and very poor quality. The general staff are very incompetent and not very useful or helpful. The contact number for complaints posted inside the hotel lift is Fake and...
