Legend Hotel Lagos Airport, Curio Collection by Hilton’s debut is really a masterpiece, the layout and architectural design is one well planned, detailed and a lot of thoughts were put into it. The hotel is located at Murtala Muhammed Airport (LOS) in the Ikeja district, the ultramodern hotel offers unrivaled proximity to the international terminal as well as an exclusive immigration and customs desk for private jet passengers – perfect for corporate and leisure travelers alike.

The hotel is a blend of retro, modern and African art and interior design, there is a masterpiece iron sculpture of a dog and a curvy lady, it leaves your mind wondering how beautiful yet well placed this piece of art is and who created and crafted this wonder. At the lobby, there are three tall treelike decor made with an infusion of ankara and batic this gives the eyo feel which depicts the monument for Lagos State. The staff are well cultured, friendly, very detailed, precise and professional.

The rooms have very active sensor that you have to spray perfumes or deodorant in the bathroom so that the alarms are not triggered. The AC is programmed to start if the room is hot and there are humans in it, it regulates the temperature. Very spacious rooms with art decor style and plenty of natural and artificial lights. The rooms oversee the hanger of private jets so you are allowed to dream big just looking at the great airfield views.

The swimming pool is within the hotel on the second floor, very cosy and inviting. The best part is the Food! Breakfast is heavenly but the restaurant and bar, De Bull, serves only a la carte for lunch and dinner but they are open all day serving Nigerian and global cuisine against a stunning backdrop of the airfield.

Legend Hotel Lagos Airport has all the amenities that suit your travels. From an indoor pool to a steam room for chilling, to a terrace and lounge where you and relax and hangout to a gym overlooking the airfield and a pool terrace bar and exclusive aircraft crew lounge all for chilling.

I had a very bad experience when booking Legend Hilton Hotel. Before I arrived in Nigeria we made a booking through Google Maps, which indicated that the link was their official website, but the website would take you through this 3rd party payment method called Flutterwave. We made the payment through this Flutterwave and they took payment from our Mastercard TWICE. Mr. Nweke from hotel money.ng refunded one transaction. When I arrived in Nigeria, got to the hotel and came to find out that there was no booking. I wrote an email to Mr.Nweke about what was going on, but he said the hotel was never booked and I asked him to return the other transaction but till date, he did not. The hotel cost was $210 so I had to make a new reservation. So the lady at the reception told us she can still book us with the same price which is $210 but it doesn't include breakfast. She said if we want to eat breakfast I can pay for breakfast or she can make a booking that includes breakfast so I told her to make a booking that includes breakfast for me and my daughter. Fast forward to the next morning as we sit and start eating here comes a lady tells me the breakfast I paid for does not include my daughter. I ask her, do you think I would pay for breakfast for myself, not my daughter. She left and came back again telling me the breakfast is for one person not for two. I told I have already paid for our breakfast and I am not going to pay any more money and she left and never came back. It's so wrong when Legend Hilton Hotel tries to charge you for what you already paid for. they should have good communication with the customer to let them know what is included when booking a reservation.

If you live outside country please do not make a payment to flutterwave or hotel money.ng because they are 419 they would take two transactions from your master card and refund only one transaction and keep the other transaction to themselves

I had a flight to catch pretty early in the Morning and I decided to spend the night in the hotel since it is literally inside the Airport premises.

Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was first greeted by very welcoming and professional staffs who helped me through the check in process with ease, and being my first time at the property, and according to them based on the reservation I had, I was offered gifts as part of my welcome package.

The environment was neat and calm, food was nice as you would expect from a hotel as this, the staffs were pretty good with their jobs, the hospitality was to me top-notch considering how lousy and unprofessional some Nigerians can be when it comes to carrying out their duties and doing things by the book.

The hotel has got its own private Jet terminal and hanger with Customs, Immigration and other required personnel located within the premises as well, this implies that you can fly in and out right from the hotel without the hassles of the public terminal this is definitely unique, exclusive and convenient for your travel needs.

Since It’s s not meant to be your everyday roadside hotel, I wouldn’t say it was exactly pocket friendly however, that’s subjective, another thing I noticed based on my frequent visits to the airport is, if you would have to go into town from that location, then you definitely should have it in mind that you would equally have to endure traffic during rush hours, aka mornings and evenings cos that’s a usual on that airport road.

In the end I had a very pleasant stay, was able to catch up with my flight on time without having to drive through Lagos traffic and my time at the hotel was worth it, which is why I would recommend it to anyone who requires the exclusivity and professionalism of a...
