Spent two nights there and it was an okay experience. When you book online, remember you may be charged differently on arrival because they calculate using their current dollar rate. For a room upgrade as first time visitors. Room was clean and conducive even though the bathroom tap was faulty (informed them but they said they couldn't fix it during our stay) English breakfast was super basic (2slices of bread, omelette, sausage &baked beans). It was sad to find that breakfast didn't come with water, just tea and coffee options. Requested an omelette but the waiter brought a sunny side up and insisted it was an omelette. Front desk was quite helpful and courteous. There's a supermarket on site with a wide range of products. Parking is also available, sometimes gets filled up and you may have to park outside the compound. Although area is safe and secure. Free WiFi is available but it was a mess throughout our stay. Location is great for easy access as you're not far from lekki and the mainland.

I'd like to extend my gratitude to Charles, my exceptional Uber driver, for making my experience truly wonderful. His priority on safety and valuable advice were greatly appreciated. The hotel staff were friendly and courteous, and I appreciated . My hotel room was clean, secure, and comfortable. The food was also delicious! One minor suggestion for improvement would be  the lights . Gone off in on. However, overall, my stay was enjoyable, and I look forward to returning soon! Thank you again, Charles,  keep up the great work you are wonderful and  We thank you y’all  for everything,  and I love The idea that they have a store right next to the hotel, thank everyone in the store for being so nice to us in We also thank the security guard to , to the entire hotel team for a pleasant experience We Thank you !"

A Decent Stay at Park View Astoria Hotel Ikoyi My experience at Park View Astoria Hotel Ikoyi can be summed up as "okay." The rooms were satisfactory, providing a comfortable but unremarkable stay. Similarly, the location was accessible, offering convenience without any standout features. As for the meals, they were decent. It was a weekend stay for a community engagement we were working on for CCG. Overall it was good. In essence, Park View Astoria Hotel Ikoyi provides a functional stay for those seeking accommodations. It's a suitable option for travelers looking for a no-fuss experience in Ikoyi. The environment is also very quiet . A 💯

I checked into this hotel on the 4th of March 2024 and will check out on the 16th of March 2024, which means I will be here for a total of 13 days. I have now been at the hotel for 10 days and have had a dreadful time. I have been moved three times to different rooms as there have been problems with the water temperature. Therefore, every time I have a shower the water would start off being hot then turn cold and stay cold. Due to this being an ongoing problem the management agreed to move me and advised it would not happen again where I move to. However, I have been moved to three different rooms now and all the rooms have had issues with hot water. There have also been ongoing problems with the water tanks, which are above the toilets and it has been constantly leaking on top of me and all over the toilet seat. Despite the management team telling me it has been fixed the leak is still ongoing. So, I am now fed up of asking the staff to repair this issue as when they say they repair it - it does not make a difference and the issue with the leak still remains. There are also two big holes around the taps at the shower that look horrible, and the manager Kenneth said he would get this repaired. However, the following day the filler put there came off whilst I was in the shower and the holes are showing again. The maintenance people constantly get asked to fix things whilst I am here, when in all honesty this should have been done beforehand, as completing repairs around me is poor and unprofessional. I even had to ask the Supervisor Abu to ask the staff to clean the rim around the shower glass as once when I showered there was black stuff coming out of the seal from the glass. This of course was disgusting as I saw this whilst having my shower, so it should have been clean before I entered there. The customer service has also been horrible and very unprofessional as the staff member Michael refused to give me a glass to get a drink with my breakfast and was constantly ignoring me, despite allegedly being spoken to by management about his professionalism. Despite me complaining about Michael's conduct to the Supervisor Abu Michael still continued to be rude and unprofessional. Lastly, the Supervisor Abu and Manager Kenneth have annoyed me severely as Abu stated that I would be compensated part of my payment back, as this is what I requested for, due to the terrible service that I have received since being here. Abu told me over the course of four days that he is dealing with the matter. Yet would never come to see me or call me when he said he would. This would mean that I would be waiting sometimes for hours for Abu, which is unacceptable. After waiting for four days to get my part refund back, Abu then told me that it is not him that deals with money matters. So he called the Manager Kenneth who is very rude and Kenneth then stated that I will not receive half my money back, which would have been 300k as I paid 600k to stay here. When I told Kenneth I want half my money back he replied "You are not getting any money back, what is 600k!" Can you believe that. Is this how a manager is supposed to speak to a paying customer. So, to say that my stay here has been awful is an understatement. I am now just counting down the remaining days that I have left as I cannot wait to get out of this horrible hotel. The customer service is terrible, the rooms are falling apart, nothing works properly, everything leaks and there is no lift. I would never come back here again and I would advise that nobody else come to stay here either! There is no way that this hotel is a 4-star hotel. It should be...

A reservation was made for me and my colleagues. I was opportuned to have images of some rooms. I went there on the 4th of January, 2025 and saw the rooms fr myself, which I was satisfied with and sent the images and videos to my superiors and these rooms were approved.

On check in, which was 6th January, 2025, I realized what I was shown earlier was not what I was given. That is to say what I snapped and paid for wasn’t what I was given. And to think I came there myself and toured round the rooms, to know what I wanted was annoying because it wasn’t the room I was shown they were checking us into. IlMy boss was upset and had to leave. We didn’t even spend the night that was paid for at the hotel.

I requested for a refund and the management didn’t budge. They said that we had spent over 30minutes in the room (we were waiting for our taxis to pick us up from the hotel because we were not pleased before we left. They claimed that there was nothing that could be done cos they had already checked us into, that is to say I can’t be refunded I can’t be refunded even if we didn’t spend the night in the 4 rooms (2 supreme rooms, 1 Deluxe room, & 1 Executive suite) I had paid for. I didn’t even get to enter my own assigned room, we were all in our boss’ suite at that time. I paid N400,000 for that night. We were meant to spend 5 days, but had to make a deposit for 1 night.

I understand that hotels have policies, I didn’t even ask for a full refund, but this was an exceptional case and I was hoping that the management would feel some level of remorse, but no. They kept insisting that as long as we were already checked in, my money was not refundable.

You have to be careful with these people, so you won't fall prey to my experience.

Make sure what you are shown is what you are getting. . Worst is the unkept and scary environment. Just by the suite, there’s a terrace, we could hear every conversation of the people at the corridor, which was disturbing, overstimulating, and depressing. The door is so bad that you can pull off, not even...

This hotel was the icing on the cake of our trip. I stayed there with my daughter, EziNne, who was in Nigeria for the first time. The hotel was an absolute added value to get a different view of Nigeria.

The staff is very disciplined, polite, friendly and most importantly helpful. They see you as a person and not as a guest. The distance between them is small but still very professional, which is definitely a big plus sign!

The hotel is very neat and clean. The buffet is extensive and very tasty. The rooms are quite comfortable. They have a gym and a very nice swimming pool. Maybe pay attention to what some couples are doing in the water ;) Beautiful roof terrace.

Inside the hotel there is an oasis of silence.

When we left, we were even waved goodbye and wished a safe journey. These are small details that make an entire experience positive.

May I add a small detail: folding towels better, putting down shampoo/soap in a different way can make a "sight" even more beautiful. But these are negligible details.

I'm going to stay there again next year. I'm already looking forward to it! My advice to everyone: Are you coming to Nigeria? Look no further than this hotel....
