Worst experience ever. The morning shift cleaner and receptionist were extremely rude and even got into an argument with us. The cleaner went so far as to snatch the keys from me and insisted we were in the wrong room, when in fact he had made a mistake. Not once did he apologize.
I asked him to clean the bathroom as it clearly had urine stains. He claimed he already had, but when I pointed it out again, he started arguing instead of fixing the issue. The bathroom amenities were unacceptable—only a couple of shampoo tubes, one of which was already empty, no soap, and the bins were still full of used tissues from the previous guests.
When I tried to rest, I checked the pillows and found them stained, clearly flipped over to hide it. They looked like they hadn’t been washed for weeks. The sheets and blankets had multiple types of hair stuck to them. The main carpet stank, the bedding was filthy, and there were dirty marks everywhere. No coffee, tea, or basic supplies were provided.
I paid 30 OMR for this awful place. The only reason I stayed was because my parents were exhausted, also the night-shift Arab gentleman was kind and understanding. He acknowledged the problems and kindly gave us fresh sheets, though we still had to use our own pillows and blankets.

Read moreWe loved the dedication to serve the guests. This is just a new apartment building but they tried to accommodate every need of the guests. The owner was so nice, he came on the weekend breakfast and gave all of us information talk and also asked for feedback himself. Not only that, he gave us a free tour to Wadi Bani Habib nearby and showed us all around for free. He gave us tourist brochures and maps of Jabal Akhdar. More rooms with different facilities are available... the owner has more knowledge about all the places and things around the jebel akhdar..
He offered us the map and explained all routes and spots to see.. also gave suggestion for bbq spots.. it was so helpful...
And there is free wifi with decent speed!
