Jawharet Al Kheir Furnished Apartments — Hotel in Dhofar Governorate

I booked online one hotel apartment for a family of five, we were happy with the reviews and ratings, obviously it had one of the highest ratings in Salalah and for the matter of fairness, I cant bench mark as I haven't seen other hotels in Salalah, so my comments here are for fellow travelers to have a fair understanding on what to expect from this specific hotel apartment.||We arrived at 4 PM, the neighborhood was a bit shocking to start with, it was not developed , scattered low rise buildings, mainly local residential area, far from being a part of a city, but more into an upscale village /small town. ( check my photos for better understanding on what I mean here).||The room was not ready ! but Nizam, your one and only contact, was very polite and welcoming and he offered what he could to make our wait comfortable.||Finally, we got into the apartment, from the first look, it was obvious that they just renovated the whole building , the space was very reasonable, reception area, small kitchen, 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms.||First of all, they spend a lot of effort to clean it " their way" and this is appreciated very much, however, the couches in the living area were so stained that I couldn't use them the entire stay ( probably , they decided to keep this from the old furniture) , so living room was out of service for us !||Kitchen had a small fridge ( was fine) , a small microwave that we never used, a gas stove with no oven and a few cabinets , also a semi automatic washing machine , overall, the kitchen never felt clean and it was also out for us ! ||Bathrooms were clean , toilet , sink and shower looked brand new ( non standard design of what you expect from a hotel apartment but fine !).||Bedrooms ( check photos for layout) were ok, but the beds were so hard like wood ! but they were clean).||Towels were a problem, we got dirty towels twice, they wash them but they never check if they are clean enough to send to you , so you have to check each single towel before you use them !.||the AC and ceiling fans were very good, however, i think the location of the AC facing the bed was not the best as we used to get very cold air blowing straight onto the the bed, a bit of adjustments worked at the end.||walls were clean and the floor was clean as well.||the location is opposite to Lulu hypermarket and the biggest mall in Salalah and that was a great advantage||Finally, the staff were really and sincerely helpful and very responsive and they surly did their best to make our staff as comfortable as...

Superb, Excellent, Budget friendly place for Family

Rooms: 5/5 Newly build, spacious and clean apartment with all amenities... Fully loaded kitchen, washing machine and well appointed rooms. Bathrooms are also neat. Service: 5/5 Very courteous helpful and friendly staff... Especially Mr Nizam and Mr Ummer... Room service is excellent... Tea served is awesome. And the staff are always there to help. Wifi: 5/5 Each room comes with its own wifi router... So Excellent wifi reception. Cost: 5/5 well worth each baiza you give.... Budget friendly family aparthotel. U get a free light breakfast in the morning (Tea and sandwiches) Location: 5/5 walkable distance to salalah garden mall(carrefour) and new lulu hypermarket. Easily accessible from the main road. Airport is just 10km away. Plus a quiet locality. Parking: 3/5 You may not get parking in front of the apartment if you come late in the evening.

This is not a fancy place at all, but we went to Salalah for the diving, and knew we would not be in the apartment a lot.||||First of all: it was clean, and the staff are lovely and always greet you with a smile.||||We had a 2 bedroom, with 2 bathrooms as well as a living room (sofa and coffee table + tv) and a small kitchenette. The fridge did not work, so they brought us another one within 30 min. Bed was really hard, and bathrooms are basic - no shower curtains - with plenty of hot water. Our apartment did not get cleaned, during our 4 day stay, but for us, it was not a problem.||||Free Wifi was very good most of the time.||||We got delivery from "Burj Salalah" restaurant, and it was very good and cheap.||||The apartment is very close to Lulu and "Salalan Gardens mall"(with a Carrefour) - lovely place to visit, and sit outside for a coffee.
