A Memorable Stay at Muscat Hills Hotel – Special Thanks to Mr. Mohammad, Mr. Sediq, Mr Osman, and Mr MohammadAli

I had a truly wonderful experience at Muscat Hills Hotel during my recent visit to Oman. The location is serene and relaxing, offering a perfect balance between comfort and the natural beauty of Muscat. But what really made my stay special were the exceptional staff—especially Mr. Mohammad and Mr. Sediq.

From the moment I arrived, both gentlemen went above and beyond to ensure that everything was smooth and enjoyable. Their professionalism, warm hospitality, and attention to detail stood out and made me feel genuinely welcome. Whether it was arranging transportation, helping with local recommendations, or making sure my room was just right, they were always there with a smile and a solution.

The hotel itself is well-maintained, clean, and peaceful—ideal for both business and leisure. I especially appreciated the relaxed ambiance and friendly service throughout the property.

A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Mohammad, Mr. Sediq, and the entire Muscat Hills Hotel team for an outstanding experience. I look forward to returning on my next...

We've been very disappointed. We booked 2 rooms (2 adults, 2 children 17+19).||1. Bathroom: |- sink was not cleaned|- the shelf underneath the mirror was that sloping that all the things fell down into the sink|- no anti-slip towel in the bathroom, extremely slippery after showering!!! Be careful or use a towel (if you have one left)|- only one towel per room hence one towel for two person in the room|- toilet paper were empty (in both rooms)||2. main room:|Bedside lamp can't be switched off from my side, only from one side both lamps||3. Breakfast:|- plastik cups and spoons! (Save our environment!!)|- eggs have been cold (no heating underneath the heating box)|- no butter|- no cereals or corn flakes |- no cold milk for drinking (only hot milk for the instant coffee)|- only instant coffee in an entirely opened box (not really hygienic in relation to the number of changing guests) |- very poor offer for breakfast, at least some fresh fruits. ||Low price but do not expect...

Terrible Experience – Lack of Trust and Guest Respect

I stayed here for 8 days, and it was a constant struggle to get even the basic services without having to ask multiple times. The staff seemed more concerned about securing cash than taking care of their guests.

One evening, after a long day of work, I returned to my room exhausted, only to be bombarded with persistent calls and knocks on my door at 1 AM – all for the payment of one day’s stay. Waking a guest in the middle of the night just to demand payment is completely unacceptable. Their obsession with advance payment overshadowed any sense of hospitality. They treated me as though I couldn't be trusted, with no respect or consideration for their guests.

This will be the last time I ever stay at this hotel. If you're looking for a place that values its guests and provides even the minimum level of service and respect,...

It's a three star hotel, and the amenities in the room reflect that status. The check-in was OK, though it took a bit longer than what it should be. The receptionist was very nice in handling the process. The room is of decent size, though some things were missing. There were no towels, and I had to ask for them. The bed and sheets were just fine, and the water pressure in the bathroom was great. Again, consider that there were no handle towels either. The location is not that great, and you need to have your own wheels to get here. The parking is a big issue and if you return late in the evening, you may have to park a few blocks away. Also consider that right next to the hotel, some construction is happening and this makes it noisy during the day. Overall, the place is a cheap option for a night's stay in Muscat.

Stayed here while I had a 14hr layover. Got the hotel transfer from and to the airport (12omr) hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious, clean and comfy bed! Only downside is there was no toilet paper in my room and the water pressure wasn't the best but I survived. There is aircon in the room, free toiletrees (including a toothbrush) and tea and coffee. Great stay!

Very clean and tidy hotel. Very good service. Check in was quick. Bed very comfortable. Enough cupboards for clothes. There are coffee and tea making facilities in room. Luxury stay at budget price. I highly recommend it!
