Destination Beach Resort by Dreamworld — Hotel in Karachi Division

Definitely recommend. Easy reservation process with online transfer of deposit. Got lost on the way but someone helped us get there over the phone. There was zero checkin procedure. They just welcomed me in and walked me straight to me room. That was excellent. Reservation was for 2 days and they made me switch rooms which was annoying but both rooms had wonderful views. Single huge balcony and then double balcony in second room. First room was in good condition. Second room had an awful water smell. Someone came immediately and resolved the smell. Breakfast was delectable and included in price. Room service was fast and delicious. They took card payment for that and checkout. Customer service was top notch. Mini fridge and kettle in room. They built bonfire each night on the beach. Sea Water was clean and clear and didn’t smell. Sand had trash but I could see they were doing what they could to clean it up day and night. Many side attractions available ranging in price from cheap to expensive but I did not partake. Indoor games, horse and camel rides were included but also didn’t do these. Shower had very hot water but the shower head was dirty and clogged and took too long to shower because of this. Drinking Water bottles included for free. Very private secluded and safe location. The guard post was aware of our arrival and let us thru with little time. They also had valet service so I just pulled in and they parked for me. Beds were very comfortable. Seems kid friendly. I visited for a full day in 3rd week of july 2024 and really disappointed by the quality of services. I faced number of issues 1- There was no water in hot side of the tap throughout the visit. Only cold water available which is un acceptable. The reception keeps giving excuses about the broken water heater. 2- Insects found in the room. Called the service to catch them. 3- requested for extra matress and somehow it took them 2 hours to arrange a single matress. And on top the service boy just bring the matress after 2 hours and bring the sheets after another half hour 4- the AC was set to 22° by the room service and up on request to keep it at 27 the service boy refused since the power breaker keeps tripping if the temperature was increased. So we must either keep it off or at low temp 22°. 5-there was no washroom mat so everytime you go to the washroom the room would get wet by the footsteps. 6- when i asked for the manager i was told he is not available. 7- no one mentioned about the complementary breakfast for the morning. And they just come up to the door after the time was over and informed us that the breakfast is over. How stupid.

In short i could not set the room temperature and i had no water in the washroom hot side. And when i called for any service they took too long to respond. And the intercom was not working. Finally they simply forgot to inform us that the breakfast is included in full package. I have been to many hotels and in my experience this was the worst experience...

We enjoyed at the Destination Beach Resort as we reached at 2pm where we were warmly welcomed by the reception and the person who parked our car in the parking area. We got our rooms immediately and were impressed with the rooms sooo clean and tidy, loved the smell and the view wow was awesome we had two balconies in our room so from one side you had the view of the beach and the other you had the view of the beach and lighthouse and the entire Manora beach. We enjoyed room service and our dinner the dishes were cooked to perfection and full of flavor hats of to the chef! The grilled prawns were the star dish, then the chicken handi and the chicken boti yummmm a must visit and try. Since we stayed overnight breakfast was complementary and delicious 😋Halwa puri, omelette, parhata, bread butter and jam and tea. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed our time in the water the guests at the hotel have their entrance to the beach where outsiders are not allowed and the management made sure of that. Comfy chairs and a beach recliner was given and after sunset we were picked up by the staff once the guests were out of the water. There is a place to wash of the sand before you enter the resort.
