Whispering Pines Hotel & Residences — Hotel in Khanpur Tehsil

Although the location is beautiful the services did not provide adequate value for money. We booked a one night stay in 1 bed apartment. A - First issue we faced was that their washroom flush wasn't working at all and had to get it fixed. This clearly shows they do not even properly check the rooms before a guest arrives B - There was no shampoo or dental kit in the washrooms. We asked for it multiple times and we only received 1 dental kit the next day we when were about to leave C - We also had a kitchen, but there was a bird nest in its chimney. There was no way for us to use the kitchen. And if there is a bird nest in the chimney, this means it has been there for a very long time. Why were we charged for the full apartment of we cannot even use all the facilities? Plus, the birds kept making noises throughout during day and night. D - The room service was so bad that we had to ask for one thing multiple times for us to get it. They kept forgetting one thing and another which was very inconvenient. Is it that hard to write the stuff down once and for all? E - Their menu was very limited and still most of the things were not available when we asked for it. Simples things such as wings etc. F - There was a table tennis but no rackets were available. It clearly shows they are not maintaining the equipment at all. Also, just 1 table for all those people staying? That too was not available G - Breakfast was not included in the stay which was strange because it is very common that it is included. Anyway, on asking they said it is not included but we give 20% discount on the menu. And guess what, we were not only charged full(without any discount) but they even added an extra thing in our breakfast and charged us for that as well. We mentioned this at the reception in feedback as well but they just read all this feedback and didn't bother to ask us a single question. H - It clearly showed they didn't care about the feedback at all as we watched their staff quietly read it and they didn't even look back at us to ask any clarifying questions and not even a single apology for the inconveniences we faced. We were very disappointed and were so tired so we just left.

I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they want to waste...

I was here for 2 nights. On the first night after having dinner, we decided to go out and explore the valley, after driving down the hill to their main gate, the Gaurd asked me if I was checking out, I told him no, we are still here for another night and that right now we are just going for a hike. He didn’t let us go and told me to go to the reception first, as they said I gotta pay some pending dues FIRST. I was shocked at this point as I was paying on spot for everything we had ordered, but without going into detail, I told the gaurd that even if I owe them any dues, it will be cleared during checkout, right now we are just going for hike. But he didn’t listen to us and refused to remove the road barrier. So now, I drove back all the way up to the reception to ask them what exactly is going on and where is this amount coming from. The reception guy told me I owe them 3k and it needs to be cleared before I could leave the property for the hike, What a joke! But anyway, I told him I’m ready to pay it right away, but I need to know what it’s for since I’ve been clearing my bills on spot, and surprisingly he said there restaurant manager punched the bill incorrectly for the dinner, according to reception my bill was 13,500 and he charged me 10,500. Now how in the world would I know I owe them this money? You bill me incorrectly due to your own fault, then instead of coming to the villa or contacting me for the dues, you harass me when I’m going for hike in front of my guests. Cheap tactics being played here! This is not acceptable.

Oh and also, if the owner is looking at this, please also have decent waiters in the restaurant. The ones you have right now, lack basic manners and ethics on how to serve clients. They were smashing the dishes on the table, not giving any sort of acknowledgment when we ordered anything, and they looked like they are sick of their job. LOL

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Whispering Pines, and it turned out to be one of the most refreshing and peaceful getaways I’ve experienced. Located on a scenic hilltop, the hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views that instantly make you feel connected to nature. The atmosphere is incredibly serene, with fresh mountain air and a calm vibe that helps you unwind the moment you arrive.

The hotel is beautifully designed, blending modern comfort with rustic charm. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the terrace and rooftop areas, perfect spots to sit back with a cup of tea and enjoy the view. The play area is a great addition with a snooker table, fouseball and have sheesha to chill for families with kids, and the bonfire setup at night added a warm, cozy touch to the chilly evening.

The dining area was elegant and offered a variety of food options. The meals were delicious, fresh, and served with great hospitality. The staff was courteous, professional, and always willing to assist with a smile, which added a lot to the overall experience.

Whether you're looking for a family retreat, a romantic getaway, or just a peaceful break from the city, Whispering Pines has something for everyone. Its combination of natural beauty, thoughtful amenities, and top-notch service makes it a place worth revisiting.
