Oriole Guest House — Hotel in Zone 1

As for as cleanliness,price/value for money is concerned everything was good, Room was tidy,comfortable and clean viewing the price but I was disappointed in clear difference of their behaviour when I approached them and when I was leaving. last month on 27th march I checked on google maps there were very good reviews so I contacted on the number provided very early in the morning around 4 30 am. I told the person on phone clearly that I have a flight in evening so I will check out on the same day at 4.00 pm so my stay would be roughly around 11 hrs. His behaviour at that time was very welcoming and he said no issue we will adjust and manage he also negotiated price with me and gave me concession so I checked in at around 5 am 27april24. but just after around 1 pm on same day another person that was on reception and introduced himself as elder brother of the initial person asked me that check out time is 12 pm so you should have to pay another amount of worth 1 day stay, these are rules and regulation etc etc. I protested on this inappropriate and opportunistic behaviour and mentioned him the whole talk and negotiation with his brother. later I called the first person and he said he mistakenly assumed that my flight is on 4 pm and I will leave accordingly that's why I accommodated you anyhow he requested me to pay half price of full day stay which I protested and refused and asked him to ponder upon his opportunistic,unfair behaviour and in last he agreed and said okay just don't be angry and annoyed with us, and you are most welcome. That thing is that clear greed and opportunism. So while booking any hotel verbally always ask clearly about your check in check out timings,your circumstances and price clearly otherwise people will misbehave with you and try to get benefit of you...

Absolutely awful rooms , had a smell to it as if there was mould the washrooms were dirty also the setting of the washroom was UNplanned as the AC water was dripping on the toilet seats . For the price that your paying they turn the AC off and on when they want , the mattress was all sticky and smelly the bedsheets had stains on them and the blankets were not washed they just reuse them as customers come , the whole room was filled with flies and croackroches , also you can open the windows from the outside so there is no privacy to your stay at all , me and my family went out for shopping to come back and find out that they had been into our room without our permission.
