Bocas Beachfront Lodge "BBL" — Hotel in Bocas del Toro

Great property. The house itself needs some tlc. I was there with my family and friends over the New Year holiday. We paid a LOT for this rental. There is something wrong with literally every room in the house. Many lights don’t work. Bathrooms are in bad shape and all need to be remodeled. Tiles missing, fixtures old and corroded. Many doors don’t open properly. Many light fixtures don’t have bulbs or don’t work. The entire portion of the house that includes some bedrooms/bathrooms as you walk in to the right is listing inland by 3 degrees. This is an over priced run down building in a prime location. Hardwood floors need refinishing. Caretaker said the indirect lighting in my room has not worked in 20 years. Reading lights over my bed don’t work but owners will not replace them. Ceiling fan has not worked for many years. A/c temp control doesn’t work. Temp is set to 22c.
