Maroa Beach House — Hotel in Bocas del Toro

This place is super cute and right on the water. The couple that own it are lovely and extremely helpful. They make different breakfasts every day that are delicious and you can sit overlooking the water and enjoy breakfast. |You do need to be aware if booking this place though that noise carries a lot between the rooms and if you are a light sleeper then it is not for you. It’s also a bit out of town (30 mins walk) or a $1 taxi - but I couldn’t always get a taxi. I did visit during a busy period though so that could be why I struggled with taxis a bit. Liviana and Osvaldo were great our whole stay, they made us feel like at home. They give very good advices about anything you need to know from the island, tours, restaurants...||The place is quiet nice, clean and cosy. The shared terraces with bench or hamaca were perfect to rest or to enjoy the view to the caribbean sea.||The breakfast was super good, every day something different.||They have a cat and a dog and specially the last one, Calima, was super sweet.||It was a pity to leave because we felt very comfortable there.||The place is in a quiet area what it was good. A lovely couple run this place. They make you feel very welcome and give great tips for restaurants and activities in the area. Breakfast is good and the view is great - you’re right on the water.
