Wow, Wow, Wow. This was certainly a unique hotel experience. Perched off the ridge of a mountain, with shipping containers for rooms, this setting and views were spectacular. Small hotel, easy check-in, friendly staff, small but very well appointed rooms with small kitchenette area, two walls of windows for the amazing views, nice balcony area, and mountain views all around. Not much else on the mountain but Las Nubas restaurant on the top (but excellent and we loved it so much we ate there again even when we stayed at another hotel in the Valley). Even though it is somewhat isolated (and can be very windy at night) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend for 1-2 nights, or longer if you don't mind a 15 min drive up and down the mountain. You can see that the wires are not connected with waterproof connectors. Having seen that, I really doubt that the circuit breakers are...
Read moreThe hotel truly shines when it comes to the view – it’s absolutely breathtaking and easily the highlight of the stay. Another positive aspect: the room was very clean, which we really appreciated.
Unfortunately, the overall maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. The bathroom had a strong, unpleasant sewage smell that made it hard to relax. In the bedroom, there were a few small surfaces to put things down, but no hooks, shelves, or wardrobe space to hang clothes or towels, which made things a bit inconvenient.
With a bit more attention to upkeep and practical details, this place could be genuinely...
