My friend and I had the most wonderful time sailing with Yoli throug the San Blas Islands. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Juliana speaks very good English, so communication is easy. We're two young women travelling alone but we never felt uncomfortable on the boat and they're great at giving you privacy. You don't have to worry about anything. Juliana asked us what we liked to do (we really wanted to see nice snorkeling spots) and then took us on the most beautiful route. We usually visited around two islands per day with 20-60 minutes of sailing in between and plenty of time to explore when we got to the islands. You can also jump directly into the water from the boat.
You are on a boat, so there's not that much space, but there's storage and you can move around easily. The bathroom (with shower) is small but functional and even has a window. There's also a shower on deck which you can use to wash the salt water off. The Catamaran is gorgeous. There's so much it has to offer! We spent a lot of time in front on the net, where they gave us pillows so it was more comfortable (another great example of their attention to detail). They have good snorkeling gear, water shoes, SUPs etc on board that you can use whenever. They have a little boat to take you to and from the different islands or to some coral reefs for snorkeling. We saw so many beautiful fish and a really cool ship wreck! WiFi on board is great, we were a little worried about the connection since we read that there's no internet on the islands, but the WiFi has 100+ Mbps. They do turn it off at night but turn it on if you need it.
There's lots of tasty food. For breakfast, there's fresh fruit, toast and scrambled eggs. Lunch and dinner is mostly fresh sea food (fished by the Guna people) and some chicken. There's also snacks and drinks available. Sometimes we were reading in the outdoor area and someone would bring as a snack platter with crisps and fresh fruit - heaven. We ended up spending most of the time in our bikinis. Pack maybe a few loose clothes, but otherwise there's no need for fancy outfits (or shoes!)
San Blas is even more beautiful than it looks in the pictures. The colour of the water is unbelievable, the sand and palm trees on the islands look photoshopped. It's also very interesting to interact a little bit with the Guna people, and Juliana and her Crew can tell you more about them.
Honestly, this is a one in a lifetime experience and we can highly recommend it. Make sure to bring enough sunscreen and you will have the best few days sailing through Paradise. Thank you to Juliana, Alex, Javier and Dolly for making our experience...

Read moreWe had a wonderful time visiting the San Blas Islands with Julian as our captain and Jana as our cook. They both went out of their way to make the experience as enjoyable as possible for our family, and we are very grateful for it. The trip was a splurge, but it was very much worth creating memories with our kids that we will all treasure forever. Thank you to Amanda, Juliana and the crew for helping to make the whole experience...
