Our family of 5 had 2 rooms at this hotel. We were in the newer part of the hotel on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool (there is a small elevator). Rooms were basic with no frills; each room had 2 queen/double beds a small desk & chair, a bedside table and lamp, wall mounted flat screen T.V. and remote controllable A/C, Black Out Curtains and Sheers. Bathroom was small but had spacious walk in shower, toilet and sink, water pressure was really great. Beds were very comfortable, bed linens were good quality cotton and soft (no scratchy sheets here) and A/C worked very well. Basic toiletries were provided in the bathroom (shampoo, bar soap and conditioner) as well as a couple of bottles of complimentary water. No refrigerator in the room. No washcloths provided (bring your own) and hand towels were difficult to come by but available if you ask housekeeper. It seems some of the rooms had a stand up mirror but not all. Rooms had safes but couldn't get them to work, so had to carry passports and other valuables around with us all day.||We did enjoy the upstairs patio area that gave us an option to sit somewhere other than the pool or in our room. We were there during low season so it was quiet. However, there is a banquet room below in the newer part of the hotel right next to the pool. I imagine if there is a party or other event going on it could be loud.||Restaurant was okay, most of the staff were a little grumpy. Housekeeping staff were very pleasant. Very little English spoken here.||The hotel is conveniently located within a five minute walk to Supermarket, Movie Theater, Pharmacy, several restaurants (Happy Pizza was very good). There is a McDonald's and Dairy Queen either side of the hotel. Can't speak for the Dairy Queen but McDonalds was not very good.||This is a no frills budget hotel but was comfortable and...
Read moreI was there last night on March 3.|I will keep it simple.|Hotel is decent in a busy commercial/industrial area. Not so much for tourists. I picked it up for convenience, close to the highway, easy in and out. Very good for a night. Hotel get 4 stars.||Restaurant is horrible. Gets a well deserved 0.|It's not a restaurant, it's a cantina for all the workers and personnel working in the businesses around.|I had dinner, recommended by the receptionist and breakfast the next morning. Both bad in an very loud and disturbing admosphere/ambience. The restaurant was full to his limit, people talking loud and even yelling.||Takes forever to get food, 30 minutes for both diner and breakfast. Another reason is that they also offer tale out, lots of orders to deal with by incompetent and slow moving waiters. ||I asked for grill chicken and rice and 19 minute later I got some file with a strange sauce. Sent it fack. I got some chicken another 24 minute later small portion, not enough for an adult. Pictures attached.||Breakfast, included, was worse.|The restaurant was packed at 8;30.|All kinds of workers from around, it was too loud especially for breakfast, I left the place with a headache and starving.|There were 3 options, only 1 with eggs. 2 hard fried eggs, 2 corn totillas and stale and mushy fruit, didn't even touch that.||I am not a whiner but you see the picture of my breakfast and tell me if this is worth waiting 30 minute for.||Bottom-line here yes, you stay at the hotel but avoid the restaurant...
Read moreHotel is good, facilities are better than expected for the price. Clean and comfortable. Outdoor pool and terrace. The food in the restaurant is very tasty, abundant and well priced. BUT service at the restaurans is AWEFUL to say the least. Waiters ignore you, they take for ever to take your order and bring food. Then they forget you are there and never come back again. If you need anything else, you have to get up and go to counter to ask for it. I was there for a week. Every single day was the same at the restaurant. The rest of the hotel is really good. Best place to stay if you don't want to spend a fortune, but want a nice, clean, comfortable room. Plenty of placea to eat aroun. Bypass...
