Stayed here for 5 nights, it was an oasis, the last place on the Chame point and 2 mins from the beach and Machete Kitesurfing. Big spacious room, basic facilities and clean. Could do with some hanging hooks. Comfy beds, beautiful pools with terraces and food and drinks on hand all day. Cooked breakfast only, but we asked for fruit. Really friendly management who couldn't have done more for us.

Stayed for 2 nights recently. Very nice people and good menu. The beach is nearby, though it leaves much to be desired due to the amount of trash lying around. The hotel is clean and had good amenities, but the buildings need some work on the finishing touches. The room doors need to be fixed, some roof tiles replaced. The pool showers need fixing, and the parking lot feels very exposed.

Went for the afternoon to watch world cup soccer, great bucket price on national beer, beautiful surroundings, pools and gardens. Mixto fajitas were fabulous, the best we've ever had and delicious cheeseburger. Looking forward to an opportunity to actually stay there. We will go back. Thank you for your great service

After purchasing a night at this hotel we were thrilled to find such a quaint, charming hotel so close to the city and different from the standard all you can drink. The website promised minutes from the beach with a beautiful pool and indeed they had both! Rooms were basic but very clean though the A/C was really struggling (the addition of a fan would really have helped!). The restaurant menu had some delicious selections though if a bit pricey on what one would expect from a local restaurant selling national food/beer. At checkin, the "delightful" woman behind the counter said my credit card had been declined. She'd tried it twice. Thinking nothing of it I paid the difference owed for an extra person in cash. Later that afternoon I checked with my bank and all seemed to be fine with the card. We ate and drank and were continuously ok'ed to put the charge on the room and could settle at check out. At check out the next day both mine and the other two people I was travelling with, cards were declined. My husband asked if it was possible the problem was on their end and the woman replied that Yes, indeed their machine had not worked for FIFTEEN days. Why, he asked, then did they keep putting cards through? Because, they said, they hoped it had just been fixed. At no time during check-in, restaurant stay, etc. did they mention ANYTHING about their machine not having worked and in fact had a bit of an attitude about the decline. How can you possibly run an establishment in 2016 that claims to accept credit cards only to inform your guests at the end that the problem must be on their end. A very disappointing end to an otherwise ok stay. Not at all worth the price on their site but if you can find a deal and come with cash it's not bad. We'll be staying at Nitro City next time we're...

Short:||Small "boutique" type of hotel but at a much nicer price. Considering price and location, the place is decent. There are some smaller question marks, but at the price they do well. Even the restaurant is OK but music is high and awful. Very close to excellent kite surfing.||||More details:||Rooms are basic but do the job well: AC, well kept bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi (slow), OK beds. The small scale of the place is nice and the pool area is very cool. Full service restaurant with OK menu. Some smaller question marks: They only speak Spanish so there could be some misunderstandings in English; The included breakfast menu is a bit narrow and small. It gets repetitive and just not enough food; They have music cranked up at a rather high volume covering all the pool and restaurant area. This is very very very annoying since you barely can have a normal conversation much less relax. And they only have one CD it seems, and its with utter bad taste. Unbearable. You get the feeling they don't really focus on nice customer experience but rather following instructions to the point and above all focus on keeping all costs down. Just getting some butter feels like you have to beg for it and you should be really grateful to get anything that is not the absolute bare minimum. It is the wrong approach to running a vacation hotel.||||Besides this, the place is really nice and I would go there again. And it is absolutely the best place if you want to kite surf. It is just a few steps away from a super spot where Machete Kites offer sessions and rental. Much better location...
