The lady was very rude.... would not let my Aunt pay for a little snack to eat before dinner bc she didn't have time to cook it.... but you can't bring your own snacks or drinks... disrespected my Aunt by telling her to sit down and eat... for lunch she brought my child out what SHE thought my baby should eat.... I cannot have sauce due to a stomach disease I have and she brought me out chicken with sauce and then asked me if I wanted her to take it to the back and wipe the sauce of with a napkin or if I just wanted to do it myself, when she returned she asked me what I was doing with my chicken and I said I'm just leaving it on the plate so she took it away and gave me chicken that was from the night before, it was like jerky.... 2 towels for 4 people is not enough.... 2 rooms 4 beds and 2 blankets total.... she waited right outside our door at 2p.m. standing in the rain waiting for our keys to check out.... beach was hard to get to... a lot of dried coral... bleeding foot with about 10 different cuts.... couldn't take the babies to play on the beach bc of it... never going back.... for $40 more the Sheraton in bijao is amazing.... 10 pools, lifeguards, buffet for all meals.... so...

We bought day passes: $40 for adults, $35 for retirees, $20 for kids. They include breakfast, lunch and use of the pool, beach and changing facilities. I have to admit I was very pleasantly surprised. The food, while nothing gourmet, was tasty, well prepared and in decent-sized portions. The service was very attentive. Drinks were extra, but very reasonable. The facilities are well-kept, although the area adjacent to the beach could have used a little better clean-up of the dead leaves, and a path to the beach would have been nice to avoid burning our feet on the sand, but these were minor nits. Having a really pleasant escape close to Panama City...

Hotel Gaviota beach retaurant is located right on the ocean, right in Coronado. Minutes from Coronado bay condos by beach or road. My wife and I had a great meal. I had the grilled sea bass filet that was delicious. She had the BBQ grilled chicken, which she also loved. Big portions with a side and a small salad. Beautiful view of ocean and beach. Palm trees everywhere !! Cold...
