Loved Luna Rosa! Service and food was beyond our expectations. Being celiac, it is difficult to find a restaurant that takes extra precautions to accommodate my needs. Both the lovely female Hostess and our server understood my request and made great recommendations. A basket of bread, for those that could enjoy it and oil was presented while we waited for our meals. Wine, beers, margaritas, pina coladas, strawberry daiquiris all helped fill the short time until our lunch arrived. I had the salmon, it was delicious. Prepared and presented perfectly. My wife ordered the chicken melanessa and salad. Based on how quiet she was and her lack of conversation during the meal I would say it was a hit! Our friends ordered mushroom fettuccine and a personal Pizza. Both agreed their lunches were delicious. Pretty sure "Sting" and his wife, from Canada no less!, sat at the table next to us even though he adamantly denied it and his wife laughed hysterically! We enjoyed great conversation with them as well! All in all, lunch at Luna Rosa was amazing and we look forward to doing it again next year when we...
Read moreWe had dinner at Luna Rosa on 1/30/2023. This is our 1st time on this trip and had dinner there twice on a previous trip. Everything was excellent from the quick response to the email request to make the reservation to desert. This time we ate inside in the beautiful dining room. The staff was attentive and very kind. My wife had a house salad and a pizza which had a very thin crispy crust. It was loaded with toppings, she thoroughly enjoyed both. My mother had the lasagna. A generous portion, traditional style, thick with layers of cheese, meat, and rich tomato sauce. She loved it. I had the Clams in a Pomodoro sauce; they were the best I have ever had. Succulent little neck clams in garlic, tomatoes and herb sauce. Seriously the best I have ever had! I also had the spinach raviolis with a red sauce. It was a very generous portion cooked just right. It was a great dining experience. Oh yeah, the red sangria was on point loaded with fruit and not too...
Read moreMy husband and I recently visited Luna Rossa Ristorante e Pizzeria for the first time. The ambiance was inviting, with a cozy and authentic Italian feel that set a pleasant tone for our meal. The service was excellent—our server was attentive and friendly, enhancing our dining experience.
My husband ordered the lasagna and absolutely loved it. I opted for the Fiorentino ravioli, and while it was enjoyable, I felt it didn’t quite live up to traditional Italian standards. Having Italian roots, I’m familiar with truly authentic Italian cuisine, and I’d rate the food a 4.5 out of 10. It’s hard to rate Italian food in America, but I can understand why many people enjoy this place, as it has a lot of charm and the dishes are well-liked by others.
Overall, Luna Rossa offers a great atmosphere and commendable service, making it...
