Hostal Casa Amarilla in Punta Chame: a jewel in paradies At the end of January 2019 we, three fishermen from Germany, spent five wonderful days at the Hostal Casa Amarilla in Punta Chame. It is hard to believe that you can find at the very end of this peninsula such a beautiful hotel far away from hectic and city noise. The hotel rooms are comfortable, air-conditioned and arranged with an attention to detail. In the centre of the hotel area they have a pool and pavillons which invite you to linger. Particularly noteworthy is the great cuisine of the hotel restaurant. An abundant breakfast is served which you are looking forward every morning especially because of the freshly squeezed orange- or pineapple juice. From the main menu you can choose very delicious vegetarian, meat or fish dishes. The reason why we felt very well at the Casa Amarilla was because we having been looked after very attentively and cared for kindly by the hotel owners Rose and Gill. In preparation for our trip Rose and Gill gave us good advice to find an excellent fishing guide who is very well equipped with a boat and fishing tackle. And of course do not miss to pay a visit to the famous kite surfing beach not far from the Casa Amarilla. Ende Januar 2019 verbrachten wir, 3 Angler aus Deutschland, fünf wunderbare Tage im Hostal Casa Amarilla in Punta Chame. Kaum zu glauben, dass am Ende der Halbinsel ein so schönes, fern von jeglicher Hektik gelegenes Hotel zu finden ist. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und verfügen alle über eine Klimaanlage. In Mitten der Anlage finden sich ein Pool und Pavillons mit bequemen Sofas zum Verweilen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die großartige Küche des Hotels. Geboten wird ein reichhaltiges Frühstück auf das man sich jeden Morgen allein schon wegen des frischgepressten Orangen- oder Ananassaftes freut. Die Hauptspeisekarte bietet Gaumenfreuden jeglicher Art. Sowohl vegetarische als auch Fleisch- und insbesondere Fischgerichte stehen dabei zur Auswahl. Egal, ob der italienische Koch oder Gill, der Herr des Hauses, hinter der Herdplatte stand, das Resultat war jedes Mal ein großartiger Genuss. Dass wir uns im Casa Amarilla so besonders wohlgefühlt haben, lag auch an der besonderen Herzlichkeit, mit der wir von den Hotelbesitzern, Rose und Gill, aufgenommen worden sind. Rose hatte uns schon beim Buchen der Zimmer den Kontakt zu einem exzellenten Fishing Guide vermittelt. Gill, der selbst ein leidenschaftlicher Angler ist, stand uns mit Tipps für das Fischen zur Seite. What a pleasant surprise this place was. The two French owners (multilingual french,english, spanish) were very helpful during our stay last a week ago in February. They go the extra mile for their customers and gladly do so with a genuine smile. ||The rooms are clean, well decorated, quiet, well equipped and the internet is very good most of the time, Some room have AC and other's (cabanas) have a ceiling fan.||||The food is very good and freshly made by an Italian chef.||The hotel is about 500 m to the beach where you can kitesurf. We had 20+ knots winds 7 days out of 7 when we were there. They can store your kite surf gear securely in a locker if you don't have enough space in your room. ||||It has been a wonderful 1 week stay at these premises and it is one of the best places I have stayed from numerous locations around the world.
