Really beautiful garden with hammocks, tables and chairs and outdoor kitchen to spend the evening. The hosts are the most friendly and helpful people - big props to them! We had a huge load of laundry that needed to be washed in just 1 night because our stuff got soaking wet and smelly on a boat trip - and they managed to wash, dry and fold it all in just 1 night! Thank you so much!

The room we stayed in had everything needed and was very clean. It had a TV, but we didn't use it so I can't tell if it works. The location is safe but next to a busy street, so it can get a little noisy. But if you need a accommodation for a stop over on Santiago, this place can...

Turned up at 10pm without a reservation after protests disrupted our journey to Santa Fe and we were very warmly welcomed and taken care of, including being cooked for gone 10pm (and it was delicious!) and given coffee in the morning before heading off to catch a bus. Nicest hostel I've stayed in in months, alongside really kind staff the room was very clean, the bed had a duvet, and it was very quiet overnight. The garden is beautiful too. If I was in Santiago again I would definitely come back. Gracias Maira...

I wanted to take break during travels in Panama and decided to stay in Santiago. Hostal Travelers is located less than a mile from the bus station. Very friendly nice staff. The room was quite small. No keys are provided - even for your room. Room is always kept unlocked! I was a bit uneasy about this. I didn't have hot water in the room - just some lukewarm water would have been nice. Very noisy location - constant mini buses, motor cycles, cars.... Metal fabrication shop across the street - grinding...

We spent one night at Hostel Traveler on our way from Panama City to Bocas del Toro and it was one of our nicest evenings on our trip. The drinks were delicious, especially the Pina Colada, and the hosts were really nice and good company, just a very relaxed atmosphere. So we came back for another night at the end of our journey and it was just as great, with nice rooms, great chill out area in the garden with hammocks and very good homecooked food. Thanks a lot!

I loved the Hostels rooms, clean with lovely bedding and very friendly and helpful hosts, but unfortunately like all Hostels, the shared kitchen is horrific. I managed to clean a pan to make food but the setup is far from ideal(hygenic). The Hostal do offer breakfast, lunch and dinner at a fee. All the walls have beautiful murals. I will stay here again.

Wonderful place to have a rest and feel right at home! The owner and her team are easy going, happy and helpful. Luna the watch dog is fun too. The community kitchen has most of what you need and if not they will supply you with it! There's drinking water too. Rooms are fine, AC good, shower a bit nippy, haha! Go and experience it, you won't regret it.
