I love staying at the Sanctuary Hotel, when I am in Port Moresby. The staff are exceptionally friendly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. (All rooms have an air conditioner.) The food at the hotel restaurant is another reason I love the Sanctuary. They have complimentary breakfast, plus a full menu for lunch and dinner. (Garlic prawns is one of my favorite meals.) The Sanctuary has a nice pool and pool-side area for sitting and eating.

A primary benefit of staying at the Sanctuary Hotel is the location. It is 10 minutes from the airport, which is similar to many hotels in Port Moresby. The difference with the Sanctuary is that it is only 5 minutes from the Vision City mall, which is the main shopping location in Port Moresby. Vision City has multiple nice restaurants, mobile phone and electronics stores, pharmacies, a cinema and a large grocery/department store. The Sanctuary Hotel provides complimentary shuttles to and from the airport as well as the Vision City mall.

I have stayed at the Sanctuary on solo trips. They have also been great at helping me to arrange accommodation for multiple reservations, when my team was in Port Moresby. The hotel's small conference room was perfect for our group of 8 to have team meetings.

The Sanctuary is my 'go to' place in Port Moresby. I highly...

The Sanctuary Hotel and Spa is a cozy, neat, environmentally-friendly gem hidden in one of Port Moresby's known suburbs, Waigani. It is situated within proximity to all the necessary amenities - main shopping centers, main roads, clinics, Airport, Parliament House, National Museum and the National Library, etc., ||When we visited, the staff was absolutely friendly and fantastic and the service was on point. My kids especially loved the pool, fries, and pizza. The Pizza crust was just right, and fluffy; if you love a whole lotta cheese, well the cheese melts perfectly and stretches as you take a bite, while the toppings add a burst of flavor and texture to each slice - thumbs up to the Chef. The staff were always around and ready to attend to us when needed. The first of our lunch orders was served within 15-20 minutes while the pizzas followed a few minutes thereafter.|| If you're looking for a quiet, cool, and cozy-friendly environment to sit back and relax with your family, The Sanctuary Hotel may just be the place for you. The design of the establishment is such a great sight and screams WELCOME😊||Great job to the owners! Will be sure to...

Yes I was an ex staff there at holiday in n before. I will tell you that it's quite a suitable place to have fun with families, friends and even love ones too. However The food and menus are always the same as found all hotels within the country and around the world. How about trying out the Sanctuary Hotel and spa?I tell you;I was so amazed to see all PNGs beautiful and colourful birds singing sweet songs welcoming me. It was so surprising to see the fish pond of varieties swimming in a small running creek fountain water. My dinner that evening was just wonderful look and had an awesome taste because it's quite a different from any other hotels I've been. The chefs in Sanctuary Hotel are very smart in Preparing menus out from our local veggies, seafood and meat.Come alone and check it out your self and you'll love...

I was staying in the city but came here for a dinner. i finally found a place which served local food which is "secure" by my country's advice. the food was lovely and big portions. the ceviche was lovely and south American👍🏼👍🏼. walking round the hotel, it was lovely and relaxed. nice pool and greenery everywhere. less businessman atmosphere and more holiday relax atmosphere. I had drinks with the tree kangaroos but went inside due to the mozzies. they were relentless. the food was surprisingly cheaper than in the western chain hotels and actually tastier I found. would definitely visit and potentially stay if I ever come back to POM city. enjoy my photos

The rooms are decent however the air conditioning needs attention. Though there are balconies you can't walk onto them. Corridor light is terrible but and walkways aren't well lit. The food is expensive with very little fresh produce (i was served a 3 cm corncob and a single slice of kaukau 🤷‍♀️). The health drinks are more expensive than the alcohol beverages, not to mention more expensive than the soft drinks. But the pool appeared okay at night and pizza was amazing (although I couldn't taste the pepperoni in it 🤦‍♀️).
