Posada Bavaria — Hotel in Trinidad

Martin and Gabriela are the loveliest hosts you can find. A couple who retired from Bavaria to build their paradise here, they are warm, hospitable, helpful and friendly. And you’ll get to have a piece of their paradise too in your time there. Their breakfast are of home made jam, bread, preserved fruits. The eggs are all from free range chicken reared in their yards. And very good coffee too. You will get to know their lovely pet Rocky, a husky, and another smaller dog whose name I forgot. There’s also a cat Sisi. They will pick u up by car from your bus stop off the Ruta 6. Depending on the circumstance they may even give you a tour of the local towns. The rooms are clean and comfortable. With free WiFi. All in all I couldn’t have found better place to stay...

The German hosts are very nice and personable. Too bad for me a storm came through and the power went out for most of the night and went out again in the morning before I left. They're taking care of a dog which tends to bark and acts annoying in my opinion. And her bread? I don't understand how other reviewers raved about it. It was no more than okay....

Die interessanteste Zeit meines Südamerikatrips! Ich war direkt Familienmitglied und nicht nur Gast! Die Zimmer sind super gut, sauber, gepflegt und groß. Der Preis ist absolut günstig und das Frühstück mit selbstgebackenem Brot großartig.

Wir haben gemeinsam Ausflüge unternommen und ich konnte die alten, aber gut erhaltenen Ruinen der Jesuiten Reduktion erkunden. In kurzer Zeit habe ich viel über das Leben der deutschen Kolonialisten und der heutigen Generation gelernt. Paraguay ist noch weitgehend touristisch unerschlossen, aber das Land hat viel zu bieten. Wer gerne Land und Leute abseits des Massentourismus erleben möchte ist hier richtig und die Gastgeber stellen ein super (individuelles) Programm auf die Beine. Ich werde...
